Maybe i need to check my ccris to see whats going on, but i do not hv any outstanding debt or loan from bank. only maybe one case from hongleong where they came out with me unknown outstanding debt for more than 10 years. . however i settled in full since i cant do anything else last Jan.

I can vouch for this. I currently have 5 cards. My salary just slightly above RM36k. No outstanding for each. Only use it for EPP and special offers for discounts. Only bank that rejects me is Public Bank, I've already applied twice from them and both time they reject me. No reason given.

I have maybank2gold , maybank2plat and aeon classic visa . Aeon visa was my first card since 10 years ago and still using it but CL was increased 2 year ago to 7k .
However the card do not offer any benefit for me so thinking to change the card, the officer asked me if its ok my new card combine limit maintain 7k or even get higher , i told them i dont mind as i will terminate another card once the new card approve.

I also have 5 credit cards and CCRIS record is clean. l applied for CIMB and AmBank credit cards at the sametime. CIMB was approved but AmBank rejected.

In fact, AmBank rejected me twice. Will try to apply for the third time after 6 months.

no idea how aeon works, i previously hold their aeon watami and was rejected while applying for aeon big gold, cimb CR platinum applied successfully
in the end aeon watami was converted to aeon big gold, so maybe you can ask for conversion

I call the CS to change the card but they told me to apply new application. Im confused with them. If they think i cant afford to pay why they dont just terminate my card instead upgrade my card limit. Even i told the processing officer that i dont need high limit , just want the card for the cash rebate and ppl benefits and can just terminate my existing card once the new card approved..The officer said no problem, your application should be no problem, Sir , we will sms you later for the approval. Really think to terminate my aeon card anyway but i heard it will hurt my credit score if i terminate my card. Is that true ?

Why would it hurt your credit scores?
One should make it as a habit to cancel cards which are no longer useful.

I think two days for me but you will need to monitor the reduced total outstanding amount.
Their system sucks and will not reflect the payment accordingly. So, you gotta see if the outstanding amount has reduced.

Yes, swipe 12x and auto waived. No need to call them.
In fact, they will show how many swipes you have achieved in your statement, starts with 1/12, 2/12...

So not to worry to miss it.

Like me I straight pay 12x of RM 1 via UOBPayOnline, if you want more extreme can try RM 0.10 for 12x.

I have no issues waiving my cards too. Didn't perform 12 transactions on one of my AEON card so I just called them. Never a fail attempt.

No need physical swipes, online transactions also can.
It's on your online monthly statement. It will state like cumulative transactions. On mobile now, so a bit troublesome to screenshot.
