The supplementary line need to be set as a standalone first by changing its plan to mainline plan (minimum rateplan will be Maxis ONE Plan 98) You will be only charged prorated from the day of change of plan till the number has ported out. QUOTE(mrfarhatadib89 @ Apr 4 2017, 11:47 AM) can supplementary line mnp to other telco provider? If you want to mnp your supplementary line, First, change it from postpaid to prepaid (Hotlink). Then only mnp. MNP from prepaid to other telco, they cannot say that you have outstanding payment not settled, they delay the process.

Hi guys, I got this issue for my parents using Maxis, they are charged heavily for visiting Singapore frequently under this Maxisone World. Thing is they don't even use internet and just make/receive calls and get charge the full RM38 per trip.
My dad's got over rm200 n my mom's got over rm400 for this. I roughly know they charge u as long as you're overseas but after a few calls and get charged full RM38 is too heavy la imo. At times it's just receiving 3 calls from Malaysia and get charged RM38
Anyway, can anyone recommend counter measure for this?Possible to cancel MaxisOne World? Things to note is that they are not phone Savvy, so they won't know how to switch to diff SG operators and stuff when they travel.
Otherwise, any other local operators that are not so harsh in terms of roaming in SG? If u give a rather fixed price per call it's still acceptable rather than charging full RM38 after making/receiving a few calls?
Anyone face similar issue and found a solution? How can I stop this nonsense? Pls help!

Hi Maxis
Are you going to offer a new plan similar to Digi Infinite 150 soon? Current my MAXIS plan used to be the best with unlimited 1 to 7 am data (webe can be ignored due to tethering charges). But now with this new plan offered by Digi I am really tempted. I have been a Maxis user since 2001 and do not want to port out yet. I am afraid that once I port out then Maxis suddenly comes up with unlimited data. So could you please tell me if there are any "unlimited data plans" in the near future?

Hi there, is Maxis postpaid cheapest plan is RM 98 for 20GB? Is there lower plan than this, e.g., lower price for e.g., 10 GB?

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Apr 15 2017, 04:25 PM) This is the cheapest! RM98 onwards! Looks like they scrapped the RM68 plan which was the best cheapest one. The RM98 plan does not even compare to Celcom & Digi 80 (what more Digi Infinite 80).

You pay for stability and speed! That's all I want to say. If you think Digi is better than Maxis....then carry on using Digi

The rm1 offer is only for those service subscription not data usage. Find it not really worth it as it is tied to 1 year contract and if terminate early got a fixed rm300 charges. Unless u are sure that you are sticking to maxis for sure, and not going to change telco even if there is super good deal from any telco. Then maybe this is worth it.

Maxis need to upgrade their existing plan.... they still very kedekut to give more data compare to Celcom and Digi....which both are now getting more and more attractive the promotion and the amount of data they giving. Celcom and Digi now also giving sharing option.
Hope Maxis wake up and react..... don't wait for another tsunami come.....
