QUOTE(usmanjailani @ Apr 17 2017, 05:40 PM) guys..let say i subs for MaxisOne 158 (40gb quota)..and bought that RM1 entertainment plan for 365day iflix & viu, does streaming from both service will consume my 40gb quota? http://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/devices/powerofone.htmlOf course it will. The rm1 offer is only for those service subscription not data usage. Find it not really worth it as it is tied to 1 year contract and if terminate early got a fixed rm300 charges. Unless u are sure that you are sticking to maxis for sure, and not going to change telco even if there is super good deal from any telco. Then maybe this is worth it.

QUOTE(Mighty Duck @ May 3 2017, 01:29 PM) Maxis need to upgrade their existing plan.... they still very kedekut to give more data compare to Celcom and Digi....which both are now getting more and more attractive the promotion and the amount of data they giving. Celcom and Digi now also giving sharing option. Hope Maxis wake up and react..... don't wait for another tsunami come..... Actually I find that their 4g 8gb weekend data and daily 1gb for 1 hr (30gb) is very attractive that one can sign the plan as low as rm30 per mth and use all the data comes with it. And it is more than sufficient if one does not call much. The extra data such as 10gb basic internet for the speed of 64kbps is totally crap. At least maxis gave something that is fast in speed and it is really usable.

QUOTE(dinozilla @ May 3 2017, 07:09 PM) Celcom has 1 feature up, which is if you add another rm10, you get to combine the weekday data and weekend data to become all-day which means instead of 15 weekday, 15 weekend, u get 30 24/7 by just top up 10 worthy for those data usage trend consistent for day-in-day-out regardless weekday/end if maxis has 1...i may consider that... it is good that Celcom has it but I would think that it is even worth it to add rm10 more to upgrade to first gold plus that comes with unlimited SMS. and get even more data then not even need to convert. Of course for those who subscribes to first gold earlier is even better becos they get unlimited SMS for the same price at rm80 comparing to now.

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ May 4 2017, 08:27 AM) to be frank, Maxis already stated that they will not compete with other telcos (not so much significant update) because they want to maintain the speed and stability for its users. yup, it is actually ok to have one telco in bolehland to do this way. At least users have a choice to choose over quality than price. For telco that offers cheaper plans, it also indirectly means more users who value price will choose it and it will eventually cause network congestion. But instead, paying a bit more to be in a network that most ppl do not choose due to price is actually a good thing because one can enjoy a more dedicated and better service due to this.

QUOTE(Mighty Duck @ May 13 2017, 07:35 PM) If Maxis plan continue to be not attractive, one day they will end up below U mobile rating....... https://www.malaysianwireless.com/2017/05/m...bscribers-drop/As a current maxis customer, I am actually happy to see this, because it means the no of users in network will be lesser to compete for the bandwidth, less congestion and faster speed, it is actually a good things, comparing to a telco that is cheaper in price but full of subscribers but speed suffer. Not to mention maxis is no 1 in terms of speed, original the maxis users are enjoying good speed all the time. Now with lesser subscribers, it should be even better. So it is actually a good news.

QUOTE(soitsuagain @ May 17 2017, 09:21 PM) Maxis, Celcom and Digi really has their own problems but overall still ok reliable enough. Anyway, since I got my iPhone I am gonna try umobile to fit on my android. Reason so is iPhone tethering somehow drains more energy than I would like as compared to my Android phone. Doesn't make sense for me to have my secondary phone tethering onto my iPhone for my data needs. Maxis and Celcom are all ok. I never have problems with the two.

QUOTE(pokeat @ May 31 2017, 05:01 PM) Why can't come ? Delivery and sim activation are fast As for my concern, coverage is far more important than price. Same Telco as maxis for both postpaid and prepaid, why would there be differences in terms of coverage?

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jun 9 2017, 06:27 PM) Requested to port in on Monday through telephone. They promised this process can be done up to 3 business days. Argument and confusion happened on Wednesday and frustrated that they ask me to go Maxis center to do thumb print as they cannot find my account number I am a new customer so how the hell I have account number? Yesterday a lady called me to ignore the Maxis Center stuff and I will receive SMS from telco to reply port out. This has gone past 24 hours and I still have nothing. I thought porting should be easy breezy but not in my case I guess I have to give up in porting in. Kudos to Maxis porting is not really easy, u need to deal with two telcos for such request. And a lot of time it could be yr own telco did not forward the request to the new port in telco u requested. Like this case, likely that it is stacked at ur own current telco.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jun 10 2017, 11:21 AM) I called digi everyday for last three days and they didn't receive any request. They also said the request will be responded quite instantly. So Long u did not receive the SMS from the new telco that u want to port in. Can very sure that the process stucked at ur old/current telco there.

QUOTE(GamaX320 @ Dec 10 2017, 09:58 PM) Is that worth to take combine MOP98 + rm10 to 30GB all data? and why based on FAQ section mentioned after taking combined plan will become MaxisONE Share and not MaxisONE Plan? quite ok ah if you really use so much data.
