I think after the audience seen how Peter Parker got bitten twice, and Uncle Ben died twice, and lectured the phrase "Great power comes with great responsibility" twice, don't think we wanna see the same old origin again for the third time

QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Jul 7 2017, 05:10 PM) Nope, it's the worst, I used to go there back then when in college time, I love the THX hall there, but then I find out GSC Paradigm, it's much more superior. Last I go to Mid Valley GSC to catch Batman V Superman (because i go to baby fair the same day the movie premier so saja try watch there), they've done major renovation on the outside, but cinema itself, no difference at all. Still the same like it used to be back then in 2012. Not to mention it's the coldest and the smelliest cinema. lol. My rating for GSC cinema: Am surprised, not sure how Mv did before renovation as i didn't visit much back then. Most of the time i would go Paradigm because i don't have to drive more than 3minute to reach.Paradigm (Same quality control for almost every cinema hall they have) > Pavillion (Comfortable seats) > One Utama (THX/Atmos/Hall 9) > Setia City Mall (Atmos Hall) > Mid Valley (THX) My 2 cents. The hall is fine itself, somehow i don't find the sound system better than MV's (My eardrum must had been damaged). |

(& the main reason why "*Amazing spiderman" got critics & fans punching the movie). So instead of Uncle Ben teaching PP about responsibility, it's Tony this time round I know why sony did that but it was too soon, too close as many still had memories of sam raimi/tobey maguire collaboration. The reasons too superman returns (Byran/Brandon Routh) got panned like hell. Marvel studios knows this, well the learn of it & they turned things a little. Its is the reason why they too bug many comic fans when some elements don't follow too closely by the book. Look, aunt may (still hot marisa tomei), they threw out the really old one that fans had in mind. Even the next movie, they know fans will know be wondering » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and some other new stuffs that was a minor/welcomed surprises » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

They simply blast everything to the max till sometimes can hear crackle sound and bass popping. Same goes to Garden's Signature GSC, it was awesome at the beginning, but then the sound system beginning to crackle and popping like nobody business since it was not properly tuned and maintained. The thing I like about Paradigm is it's properly tuned. This is really going off-topic, but hey, Spider-Man: Homecoming is AMAZING, WOHOO! lol. |

Aunt M*lf... Seem like they 'accentuated' her looks even more in this film, as if after how fans reacted to seeing her first in Civil War. |

That's what I'm talking about it. When I first heard it in 'Homecoming', I was like wow! Taking a classic and revamping it... sounds so MCUish |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jul 13 2017, 06:52 PM) MyTown Maxx Hall. Ya my bro did mentioned bout this hall. He said the couple seat there is the best. I haven't tried it yet. Will probably try it for Planet of the Apes if got time, else will just have to wait for Justice League. Will probably try it for Planet of the Apes if got time, else will just have to wait for Justice League. It's smaller than the IMAX screen at Sunway. Not sure of the actual dimensions. The best seats are actually the D, E, F rows in the middle. This is where the room modes are at its absolute minimal. The D row is regarded the best that's why the D-box seats go there. Should definitely go check it out, WftPotA has some sumptuous bass going down to 16hz in quite a few scenes. Now the hall is still new, the real test is 1 year later. Wonder whether they will change out the bulb on the projector or be cheapskates by just dimming everything like they do with most of their so called "THX halls" (NU sentral and Pavilion for example). |

Spiderman: Homecoming (Eng) - 6/10
-Above average at best. Another overhyped film. Spidey listen and take orders from *cough*cough* Tony Stark. Yuck... Spidey interaction with AI suit is annoying enough. Movie Still watchable but not quite likeable. Oh ya f___ Cap. Amerika for end credits troll that wasted my 5mins that's not even funny. |

The movie doesn't offer outstanding quality of story or fights but it is a different take on the character. It's liek watching a kids movie. But yeah , not so bad at it.

Haha... not much of a celeb gossiper but this is interesting...
http://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/07/1...ya-datingreport ![]() Just like Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, former Spider-Man co-stars In the next Spider-Man Homecoming 2 (working title), I bet "MJ" will become 'good looking' and Peter will fall for her. Marvel simply sandbagging this... those who complained "MJ" looked disheveled/out-of-place, that's exactly what they were going after. The sort of "the-one-you-have-been-looking-for-has-been-in-front-of-your-eyes-all-along" thing |

Just watched this movie two days ago. It is an excellent movie, and excellent casting on Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Michael Keaton as the Vulture.
The story is simple, but it has considerable character expositions and developments such as Vulture's motives being a villain in this movie. He is the type of villain that everyone can sympathise with. The fight scenes are generally great, and the CGI are well-done. The music is also good, with a arrangement of the theme from the animated series back in 1960s played during the opening. This movie does have some weak spots, such as the weak casting of some side characters, forgettable end-credits scene. I am definitely buying the Blu-Ray for this movie. Score: 9/10 |
