Also doesn't seems like the red & golden suit will make an appearance

Didn't see the younger sexy MILF Aunt May in the trailer as well

just finished watching CA:CW again, really love this version of Spidey more

glad it's back as part of MCU, seems the production value is top notch, even with the tons of spoilers in the trailer, and the critics love it thumbup.gif

Best spider movie ever, side by side with Raimi's first one. I still can decide which is better, but I think if need to choose, I'll choose this one.

Most are afraid that the trailer spoilt too much of the story already, but I can tell you it didn't, it only scratch on the surface of this superhero gem wink.gif

Tonnes of reference and Easter eggs in this movie, there's even on taking a pot shot at DC's Batman laugh.gif

Anyway, it's the best decision by Sony to bring back Spider-Man back to MCU, they'll be the one that's laughing to the bank.

Fox? I think the bosses will be having an emergency meeting now whether to do the same like Sony. laugh.gif

Just imagine, Deadpool vs Spidey? That will be golden!

Those haven't watched but worrying Tony Stark/Ironman might stole the limelight from Spidey?
No worries, his presence is minimal, added just for the relation to whole MCU, not much of a distraction
talking about distraction, the hotgucci mama MILF aunt May is the only distraction you guys need to look out for laugh.gif

Nope....I would rather Fox keep doing their own thing and not to have the same menu as MCU offering. Why Fox wanted to share profit with Disney??? I think the r-rated CBM should be their USP and step up to do more Logan-esque type of movies.

All their mutant movies are making bank unlike Sony was in financial problem when they made the MCU deal.

Fox more willing to take chances on established film directors while MCU just wanted directors for hire they got cheaply from up and coming pool of indie directors.
*
fox will keep their mutant franchise, for now
they can't film most of their movies in r-rated
but when times come, but money speak volume, we'll never know if they'll be a cross-over in the future
I think every fans is eagerly waiting for the X-men vs Avenger to happen tongue.gif

anyway, since they already screw-up F4 beyond saving, instead of trying for another 3rd reboot, and loose tonnes of monies again, they should just cooperate with Disney/Marvel

love the tiny details like when he's climbing walls, there's slippage on the smoother surface, unlike the previous iterations, which will stick on any surfaces like superglue

QUOTE(Dominic Toretto @ Jul 10 2017, 01:01 PM)
Deadpool in MCU is a no-no since MCU is under Marvel and Disney. Deadpool movie got a lot of F, S and cursing words and without it, is not a Deadpool movie. But Fantastic Four on the other hand, might possible to be included in Marvel.

But I still surprise that everyone here keep complaining about Spiderman Homecoming got no spider sense slow mo scene like Sam Raimi's Spiderman and TASM franchise, but no one complaining about too less scene Spiderman swinging from building to building in Homecoming. That scene where Spiderman run at the grass field is an epic LOL, even whole audience in the cinema laugh hell laugh.gif

I think that's the good thing since from this Homecoming movie, we now knew what would Spiderman do if there are no tall buildings around him to swing (yes, I am referring to the van chasing at houses area, scene at highway where Spidey had to jump from car to car guided by Karen and the only tall structure he climbed in this movie is just Washington Monument). But its still a fun movie.
BTW Marvel tried to follow Fox's Deadpool style by showing parody and homeage from previous Spidey movies laugh.gif

This is what I found so far

(Spoiler alert!!!!!!)

I think after the audience seen how Peter Parker got bitten twice, and Uncle Ben died twice, and lectured the phrase "Great power comes with great responsibility" twice, don't think we wanna see the same old origin again for the third time tongue.gif

So instead of Uncle Ben teaching PP about responsibility, it's Tony this time round

don't think it's hydroman or sandman

probably some of the elemental monster (earth, water, fire) summoned/created by someone, maybe Mysterio himself?

and there goes the short lived MCU Spider-man

https://deadline.com/2019/08/kevin-feige-sp...ger-1202672545/

TLDR version :
It's all about $$$$
Marvel wants a bigger share in the next MCU Spidey movies, and $ony says no, so divorced

So we won't see any MCU characters like Nick Fury or even Iron Man reference in the next Tom Holland version of Spider-man doh.gif

way to go Sony, maybe they'll just put the flop Venom is Spidey 3 to replace the MCU?

It would be totally weird in the next Tom Holland Spidey movie that will have zero referencing to the MCU's character

They'll have to write a plot that the world changing Thanos event doesn't happen, there's no high tech Spidey suit from Tony, heck they can't even refer to the ex-employees of Stark Industry if they care about the continuity...
IMO there's no way for Sony to continue the current Spider-Man universe without MCU, another hard-reboot probably is incoming.

either Marvel & Sony sat down to re-nego the terms, else there gonna be a 4th reboot of Spider-Man universe doh.gif

Sarahan disney, alrdy got 100% merchandising profit and 5% box office from sony spiderman films but disney greedy, still want 50% box office 🙄 (fyi, sony takes 0% from mcu films that has spiderman in it)

No way sony gonna kowtow
*
well, since merchandise rights all belongs to Disney Marvel, and Sony only has the movie rights, but Marvel is the main producer in the last two Sony's Spider-man movies, so IMO taking the 5% from Sony box office is fair & square
because many doubted the latest reboot of Spider-man would be this successful without the involvement of Marvel

Now according to sources, Disney Marvel is offering a 50/50 co-financing deal to Sony for the next movies, and of course if I'm contributing 50% of the production cost, it's natural I'll be expecting a 50% share of the return as well.
again, IMO the 50/50 co-financing is a very fair deal for both parties, and yet Sony now claiming it's Marvel's Kevin Feige won't be producing the next movies so no deal?

anyway... seems all these dramas now are just, dramas laugh.gif

I still think the next Spider-man movie will still integrate the existing MCU in it, just the matter of both parties negotiating to who will get the biggest share of the pie tongue.gif

all these are just, DRAMAS! tongue.gif
re-nego, and now (almost) everyone's happy
