I just subscribed amazing8.
When I checked my data via *123#, it showed Data:PPU.
It should come with free 1000MB. Why it says PPU?
*
A reminder that u're on PPU after that 1GB is done. Select the Current Usage to check how much u've used, or download redone 1app from playstore to see clearly ur quota usage percentage

Redone runs on Celcom’s network.

My wife has been on this Amazing 48 plan for more than a year. No complaints from her. Do remember that the 20gb data is not all high speed.

15GB+(4G LTE) & 5GB (Basic Internet).

Thanks for your reply.
RM48 with atleast 15gb high speed internet quota is very cheap already.
Do you know what is the speed for basic internet?

The basic internet is very very slow. Maybe fit for only email and text chat. Not really usable, in my opinion.

Just take it as you having 5gb high speed internet which slows down to a crawl after your quota is exhausted.

So, the 5GB high speed is the first priority quota to be deducted when I use the mobile data. And if my high speed mobile data is exhausted or finished, then the basic 5GB will take over but offering much lower speed, am I right?

I do experience it, I still can Facebooking and using WhatsApp but unable to download apps or surf as fast as I was using high speed mobile data. Thanks for the info anyway.

You’re welcome smile.gif

I’ve upgraded my wife’s plan to the 48+ package. 15gb high speed and 5gb basic. Saves me from her nagging as she uses quite a lot of data while outside ha ha.

It's sad that until now Celcom still doesn't support VoLTE.

So it's basically hopeless for MVNO telcos like Redone and Yoodo.

I wonder what's taking them so long for the delay, it's been like a year already since the announcement.

Still can lah, just that VoLTE will be disabled and you will be relying on whatever network (3G, 2G) that is available at that time.

You seem to have a misunderstanding of how VoLTE works. If VoLTE is not available, then the conventional way of connecting a call still works.

Also, normal calls still need "coverage" to happen.
