In the case of the MT, the battery light will pop up when the car is about to stall, and will go away if you press the clutch pedal a bit more.
As for the CVT, im not too sure about that one. Late clutch action perhaps?
*
dunno. when i sent to SC for 2nd service and told them about this, they did something called Clutch Adaptation. But then it didnt solve the problem. Thats why im thinking is it it alternator/voltage/battery or wiring/sensor problem..

Guys, how many km u get with full tank + city driving?
*
around 400~420km before the orange fuel-low light comes out.

So roughly on average 12.5km/l city driving for me, but im heavy footer too. So yeah..

im owning a iriz mt and i didnt said anything about tin milo at all hmm.gif
but not all SC right? some said few SC like puchong have a good reputation. but i do know sg buloh SC not that good. few time sending my parent preve there, very slow and take things lightly.

btw 1st service at 1000km right? my car this morning show "periodic inspection" notification but my mileage only at 503km currently. should i ignore it?
*
i also have that air-cond kruk kruk noise when turning it on. I think it is one of those "common" Iriz issue? Idk if its an issue though. Maybe thats just how it is..

and also everytime you reach 500km before your next service, Periodic Inspection will appear to remind you.. thumbup.gif

Unlike my case, SC did not reset my meter after service few days ago. I came back and ask them to reset, they said they have done it and refuse to do it again because it might show 'error' and 'mess up' with my odometer.
*
I got same thing as you, after sending for 2nd service, they reset now shows next service is 20, 000km 12 months (and it doesnt reduce as I drive around, unlike before this the KM counter will keep reducing as you drive. Now its just permanent stuck there 20k km/12 months..).. So have to remind myself that my 3rd service for 20k km/12months is due in November.. doh.gif doh.gif

I asked the SA how the fuck is it possible for the car to last that long and ask them to reset it back properly, then he go blame my odometer and say cant reset cause odometer already spoil doh.gif doh.gif (note, my odometer has two lines of dead pixels that i was gonna claim for warranty but didnt really bother cause it's not a big deal for me, but other than the two lines of dead pixel, everything was working fine, it wasn't "spoiled")

Hello everyone, it is my first time posting here :3

I'm a happy owner of Iriz 1.3. A sopan santun driver that goes 80-100km/h (rarely 120km/h) hehe. So far I have no problem at all ☺️

But my only worry is --- I've never wanted my fuel bar to go down quick except when the fuel gauge decided to go haywire 😭 This is the 2nd time. With full tank, I went to Putrajaya back to PJ went to Sri Petaling and back to PJ, then to One City USJ; and the fuel gauge only decreased by 1 bar which is totally a LIE 😹 Thank god the KM-estimate on display is fine so far eventhough suddenly, instead of decreasing yesterday the more i drive the more it increased in number zz but it recovered after a while 😹

It happened before but the fuel gauge fixed itself after a long drive. And when I asked a Proton service centre (couldn't send my car in because no appointment), the person said 'Maybe your fuel tank masuk angin'.

Emm is that a valid reason? πŸ˜… What do i do. After a little drive again today the fuel gauge finally decreased (yay 😹) to 4 bars with KM-estimation of 370km. I wonder if it is alright already πŸ˜…

Any insights or advices?
*
we cant help you much with that info. Give us your total mileage traveled per full tank then maybe we can tell if something's up..

Hi everyone, I'm currently considering Iriz Premium as my first car.

I've read a lot of reviews, but I can't find the exact thing that I need. If I may ask a few:-

1) Let's say you're cruising at 120kmh, does the outside noise, such as tires and wind get inside? If yes, is it tolerable?

2) I've read there is pedal lag, does it affect daily commute like being stuck in traffic jam?

3) Do the engine noise noticeable most of the time? Like when engine warm up?

TQ and much appreciated for answers biggrin.gif
*
1) wind noise not much, tyre noise yes due to stock tyres (uses harder compound rubber to make it longer lasting i believe, therefore a lot of road noise can be heard).

2) CVT? Maybe to some users. As for me, I learned how CVT works and adjusted my driving style accordingly. No lags whatsoever, can accelerate easily, come out from junctions/corners without worries, etc. But CVT JERKING when low speeds like in traffic jams on the other hand....

3) engine noise not really if the car is idle (you will hear more of the exhaust sound instead) But when accelerating and stuffs, yes.

Using 1.3 CVT.

1. For me, can clearly hear the tyre noise on stock tyres at 90+ kmph. Wind noise not so much.

2. Pedal lag not as bad as I thought. Need to slowly get used to it and you'll be fine in traffic jams.

3. Engine noise not noticeable when warming up. Only when overtaking, yes.

All in all, it's a much nicer car to drive compared to myvi.

Guys, semi synth oil let us run 5000km? I thought it was 7000? Lol, and I brought in the car at 5400++ km but th sc's sticker said next service at 10000km, that's less than 5000km! Wtf proton...

And I. Think my front passengers power window abit spoilt I think.sometimes it wont work sometimes it will...have to restart the car to get it working again. All these situational things hard to tell sc to get it fixed haiz.
*
semi syn can run for 10k. Mineral also.

you brought in the car at 5400km is for 2nd service right? then your next service (3rd service for 20k km/12 months ownership) should be due in 15400km or 6 months whichever comes first

Thats for when starting up the car. My problem is different where when I'm driving the volume can fluctuate randomly.
*
no fix for that. its faulty radio. i also have it. when i wanted to claim warranty SC say must take out the whole radio unit and send it back to Blaupunkt for fixing, and will take 2~3 weeks.

So i didnt send it. Can live with it. But nowadays more than half a year owning the car, radio fluctuating not much already. So idk whats the problem with the radio really. Maybe it fixed itself or whatever sweat.gif sweat.gif

Hey guys..

Just did my 30k KM service.

I notice at my dashboard, Proton set my next service at 50k and 12 years period.... That's too long isn't it? Did they made a mistaken?
*
QUOTE(annas473 @ Jun 29 2016, 07:58 AM)
Should be 10k km / 6 month interval. Same goes to me. This like a bug.

Wait others to comment. Maybe they experience different.
*
maybe. or just the SC is incompetent..

After my 2nd service (10k km service), the fella reset my reminder to become 20k km/12 months. << my 3rd service should be 20k km service, but not countdown timer of 20k km doh.gif doh.gif

Just sent my car for the first service at 1K. They couldn't fix the GPS problem and had to send the whole hu to KL.. Now I'm lived with an ugly cave at the centre of the dashboard.
My next service will be at 5K according to that service center.. Is this correct? I thought the second service should be at 10K...
*
it IS 10k.

dont get conned.

black facing outwards (white part where the TnG card is, facing the plastic wall of the compartment). top to bottom (battery part at the bottom of the box). thats how i put mine. it fits nicely cause that way its smaller than the compartment box. Never ever had issue with it.

only for MID-range Jazz. OTR price 81k.
lowest range jazz only have ABS. No VSC, hill assist all. OTR price 73k..

meanwhile lowest range Iriz OTR around 38k exactly same safety specs as highest range except for 2 airbags vs 6 airbags.

was previously using that 12V socket for my dashcam but decided to unplug it temporarily and wanted to put the cap back on, but the cap is loose?? Any idea why? Before this no such problem rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
