From my experience, the problem is not with the laptop having some issue.

you need to lowered the resolution for the projector. use 1024 x 780 or 800x600

the v3000 native resolution is 1280 x 800. but some projector (i guess the older one) doesn't support such resolution. If you are lucky, some projector do support 1280x800.

U can try the Benq S31V which in white in colour. This model very suitable for female use cos small & light and come with c2d1.66.

xp x64 drivers for v3119 is not really been developed edi, however u will still find chances for it at AMD planet or amd64 planet forums, i suggest that better use vista x64 drivers and use windows vista premium or ultimate, better for u
