why off superfetch and virtual memory? any bad thing happens with these two things operating on background?

don't simply format your lappy, find all the important drivers first or else after formatting your hardware might malfunction.

normally you can dl drivers at the manufacturer's website, just search for your model

yes u can TRY.juz compare the specs of both lappies la.think its juz the matter of the size of the hdd memory,rite?other than that is the same mar.haiyoo...

1 piece 1gb works beter than 2X512mb ram.however there is no much big difrence thou.they wont change it for u.coz the price differs.ppl wil still buy 1gb ram now but 512mb sorry..they wont change it for u and stock the 2X512mb in their shops.again i tink the 1gb in ur lappie is already being upgraded from 512mb ram by HP.it used to be 512mb only.if its an ori 1gb, it would have come with a piece 1gb ram rather than 2X512mb ram.

makes ur windows lag if u on all coz normally lappies now are still not working best with vista.

His RAM is fair enough so off the virtual memory wont get any effect on him.

heavy load on hdd.

those monitor software all lebih kurang, abang adik 1 la....depends on u, c which interface you prefer more

i found that cpuidhwmonitor provide min and max for the temp.haha.nch dont.

yesterday i play need for speed underground 2 for 30min....then...quit to desktop suddently....duno izzit too hot....

yo.....new member here, just brought my laptop last saturday, i wonder which software(from the front page, first post) should i install, too many to choose liao, i scare i install the wrong one, BTW, i cant find the graphic driver for my laptop....

my laptop spec is:
compaq presario V3751AU
AMD turion x64 X2 2.0Ghz TL-60
2GB RAM
160GB HDD
nvidia geforce 7150M/nForce 630M 128MB
original window XP home edition.

i wonder where i can find the graphic driver for my laptop, i've already nvidia website and hp/compaq website, but i still cant find any of it, anyone??

u can owas check back the gpu after ur game.if u insist with the game for long hours, ur lappie gona visit the clinic.

welcome v37xx user eh?try search or google in website for it.juz download any driver for xp for v3700 series amd turionx2.u can also try with v3600 series which if the specs fits for each drivers.gudluck.ur the 1 out of minimal tribal for v3700 series in this forum.hope u can get it and share it in here.save up the links as well.

I finally found the touchpad drivers for V37XX intel-based series for vista. Not sure for other series and AMD-based models. The manufacturer for the touchpad is Alps Electric and NOT Synapstic. Here's is the LINK for the drivers.

You can now disable the sometimes annoying tab-to-click function.

hmm.. thanks for the info but i heard from one of the hp dealer said that if i sent for troubleshot and nothing wrong or problem been slove, i need to pay 100++ for service or something like that if no more warrenty..

mobo = short form for motherboard.

that wireless things is attached to the motherboard aka on the motherboard

i use HWMonitor, it can read the temp, but i'm shocking to see the temp.

cant imagine it went up to 88c just after a few mins of need for speed most wanted.

hi all, i've just bought compaq v3751au yesterday. currently running on ubuntu live cd coz i can't find all the vista drivers. only half of them are provided on the hp site. so guys, hope all of you can help me out with this thing.

anyone managed to install xp on v3791tu? i downloaded the hdd driver from hpsite but seems the xp installer doesn't recognise it...
