i've sent my laptop for warranty a couple months back to replace the motherboard and lcd. somehow they burned. dont ask me why. ehehe. im just lucky its still covered by warranty without questions.

now, im having ANOTHER problem with the USB and Optical Drive.

too bad for me, my warranty is over.

how much will it cost for me to replace both those items.

honestly, im sick of my compaq with all the problems. my next laptop sure wont be a COMPAQ/HP.

btw my system is the Presario V3222AU AMD Turion x2

u shud ask for the XP drivers in case u reformat ur windows nextime.they cheated on u.my seller gave me the drivers coz that time vista was not so famous.thou my lappie is vista compatible, but works best with xp.will format with windows ME nextime.more stabil.

i found that my adapter(the square box that connec to the laptop) of the laptop is very hot...

another question, what is the normal temperature for the CPU, HDD, and GPU???

its normal.all models are the same.even for brands like sony, nec bla bla..its normal.CPU 55C HDD 55C GPU 64-74C.that my v3010 at normal usage.it will be higher if play game.

any freeware to check both my GPU and CPU temperature?

again..adding RAMs wont void ur waranty directly.will changing a new batt for ur hp will void ur hp's waranty?alahai..v37xx series is new.few have it coz less comments from forumers in here.reliable?how would u define that?which brand will u say its reliable actualy?compaq is juz an economic lappie with great specs where u can enjoy nice price with high features.wat u get is wat u pay.

tq.juz my own opinion when i get this lappie.see..as a student, its a budget all-in-one lappie,however it do fail me sumtimes.er..not a gud lappie but not a bad lappie as well.right in the middle.

wth?2x256mb?the shop cheat u or wat?there is no more 256mb ddr2 rams along with new lappies now..even my v3010 comes with a piece of 512mb.double check with other shops as well.its wise to upgrade the rams URSF than letting the shop to do so.u save more cash by doing so.

all v3000 series is compatible with vista.compatible means work with..doesnt mean works great.so tink twice.i wont recomend vista thou.haha.either with XP or downgrade to ME.

i got 2.5gb of RAM, so i thought i could taste some of vista 'adventures'. haha! anyway, thank for that quick reply! yet still going to install vista on my lappie.
