Hi Frequent Contributors to the V3000 V2 thread,

we are in the midst of setting up a new version for this thread. we have received many suggestions to revamp the design n etc. we are also seeking efforts from senior or expert contributors in the intel section of this thread as there is a lack of support on the INTEL side.

we hope to start a new thread pretty soon.

I, sokdotcom would like to apologize to everyone for not updating this thread frequently as i am currently having my final exams as of this week of my last semester in my third year in UNITEN.

SiuYi is very helpful is assisting & leading the effort in bringing up the V3 thread.

Nope, I couldn't find it in the "Mouse" section in control panel. That's why I'm asking. Plus I couldn't find the vista driver for "Synaptics" in HP website, under my laptop model.

so..u need any other help?maybe nhc would help..juz that u cant check the gpu of ur lappie with it..haha.or else Everest..however Everest is not recommended by me coz quite a lag system which run drasticaly behind my lappie.haha.

Any AMD turion user here n can play DOTA smoothly? I find that all Compaq that can play Dota r also Intel C2D processor.

N i found out something, when I open the WarCraft3, my processor utilization shoot up to 100% for both cores, n when i close it, it go back to under 10%, so i think there's something to do with the processor.

I tried copying another time again from my fren, result is more laggy.

y not?i can play dota smoothly with default setting.

Wat is the model of ur laptop n spec? If confirm my laptop got problem, I gotta try reformat it n if cannot, gotta send to HP ad...haiz... R u using Vista Premium?

One of my Compaq V3000 series notebook using the AMD proc. the HDD is kinda noisy as if like something is scratching the disc ..
What can I do with it ?

actually i play DOTA before..veru gila sumore..then 1 day..lcd gone..then baru slow down..still play after i repair it, not lag wor..if lag means ur graphic card is getting worse.coz i got 1 fren he is totaly lag in the game..the heat was damn hot..noe y?the fan disfunction.it din spin like usualy..quite slow actualy..so, heat rose and lag.

nhc means notebook hardware control.its a program.u can get the software at the V3 i temporary closed.haha.theres a program a forumer gave for recovery data..duno who liaw..i got the software actualy..something call driver genius pro...

becoz it took most of the place in the taskbar..so i tak puas..haha.sumore from my theory, things taking place in the taskbar will eventualy slow the system if u put it there whole day..

Bro SiuYi, then i can play Counter Strike using my V3319? I actually have the installer file in place, but the game has not been set up yet...

Hard to play even if it's installed today, as i don't have a mouse!

it definitely will slow down the system .. especially for low memory.. Yesterday i tested out 1 more thing.. 16bit & 32 bit color doest ntg different to GPU clockspeed.. Only the Adapter power will slower down the GPU clockspeed. First time i took back my lappy from service, the GPU temp is around 70. Now its around 80

I was trying to install quick play dvd player but it showing a massage i could only install in an authorized machine....

rising heat is normal for me when playing CS.max 84C now..if rose higher..red alert for my lappie.thats y i don mind i rise anyhow below 84C.haha.bear in mind its using plastic clips to clip on the graphic card on the mobo.

I've tried installing the drivers as you directed, yet I was still not able to disable the tab-to-click function. After installing the drivers, a synaptics icon appeared near the PC clock. I right-clicked on it and the drop down menu showed three items, namely "Pointing Device Propeties", "Accessories" and "Tap to click". The "Tap to click" was grey in colour, which means I'm not allowed to do anything to it. Then "Accessories" expands to "Pressure graph"
"Moodpad". I clicked on both of them, and both of them showing the same error message: "Sorry... Moodpad (Pressure graph) requires a Synaptics Touchpad and Synaptics Pointing Device Driver".

I chose the "Pointing Device Properties" and I couldn't find the way to disable the tab-to-click. I was just wondering why the error message was displayed when I have already installed the driver, and most importantly, the laptop does have a touchpad. The possible explanation is the Synaptics didn't make the touchpad. After all, the driver I installed was for V3204TU instead of my laptop model.

Do you know what went wrong?
