even when set all low,no AA and lowest resolution oso lag
but cod4 run quite smoothly
just finished the game yest

actully, i dont want to challenge it la.....i just wanna know what game can be played with this laptop.....any suggestion to reduce the heat????what is the best cooler pad for v3614....anyone please

one more thing....is there any shop in kl or seller in LYN that accept trade in for ddr2 RAM coz i want to upgrade to 2gb but i dont have any RAM slot anymore...so i need to trade it up

there is no BEST cooler pad..only ability to assist in reducing the heat on ur lappie material.haha.imagine now ur blood is damn hot, will ur blood cool down if u stall infront a fan?only ur skin cool nia,rite?same theory.u can either sell it and buy it again with the cash or trade in to any sellers here.my advice:sell it separately and buy it again.however ddr2 rams r cheap now..survey the 2nd hand market price b4 u sell.haha!advice:make it a 1gbX2 ram or a single 2gb ram is the best..

hi all..
i am one of the new user for this notebook... everything works perfectly accept wireless... i did install it unfortunately when i try to go online at Oldtown or etc.. i get connected to their router or server but not able to go online.. is there any setting that i need to configure in order me to use the wifi???

Please help...

1st, plz tell us wat model ur using..we got plenty of models in v3000 series..intel or amd?

sorry siu yi.. i m not that good in techincal part... its amd .. installed with XP sp2..

wow.. that mean i cant even play crysis using my lappy..

as long as its installed, not matter what window(xp, vista) or which processor(amd,intel) it still same the solution.

so u said the wireless is connected to router right? try double click at wireless network connection, see the packet it receive and sent.

And try to make sure the setting need to be like that-default(In case u did something setting)

juz set to auto detect IP..its juz easy as that.if still cant on..means the wifi itself is locked.refer bububang's tutorial.also, to check the model of ur lappie, look behind the place for the COA..there's a white sticker or area stating the specific model for ur v3k.installing 'notebook hardware control' may help u monitor ur lappie's heat.type nhc below the searchbar.

thanks for the pic and the guidance.. yes i have try to leave it default and even try play around with the IP too..
and yet to receive and packet from the router..

When i check in Network connection i can see wireless network connection connected(network bridge) and the other thing is 1394(Lan or High Speed Inteernet) is connected too but i am not sure what is this 1394 connection about..
Any other advice? shall i just disable this 1394 connection?

oh.. no wonder... remove the network bridge(delete).. actually i duno what network bridge purpose. but so far i know, i only use it for connection sharing
so i think ur lappy show its show connected its actually the 1394 connected.

1394 is some kind of wire to connect to some specific device.. u can disable it
eg. Digital camera, external drive(not all supported)
