What's the different between the Compaq V3600 series and the new V3700 series?

I have a Compaq V3040 laptop, Intel Mobo, 1.66ghz Core Duo can I replace with a AMD one instead?
And how much will that cost for equivalent AMD spec?

v3700 series come with built in webcam but not for v3600

i suggest u trade in your v3040 and get a new notebook that cost u rm1799.u have to change your whole mainboard and processor,and this will cost u same as buying a new notebook

i jus bought 2x2gb ram for my v3514 however the lappy can only detect 3gb i used cpuid n checked both slots r 2gb where did my 1gb go?

im using v3521tu.
i reformatted my laptop last hour ago. everything is fine but my headset jack got a problem. my speaker on my laptop wont mute when i use the headset. i believed many users got this problem. can share how u all fix it?

\the max temp for my gpu will reach 85C only..not more than that...

U need to use a 64 bit operating system in order to fully utilize the 4GB rams.. 32 Bit operating system which you are using now can only use up to 3GB (I thought is 3.5gb) but dunu why urs is 3gb

when i plug in my headset, the sound just come out one side only....
but in speaker is working normal....

i can see ur HDD and CPU heat as well...are you using a cooler pad at that time?

my CPU heat also almost same like u when iim using 1.8Ghz....will run about 40C when i use 800Mhz...

but ur HDD is way hotter than mine...i tot im the only one who got this problem oni...

do a favour...turn ur lappy around...then look at ur CPU heatsink fan...those holes in the bottom of ur lappy...izzit open whole circle 360 or only 90 which is 1/4 of a circle oni?? mine 90 degree oni...sometime i really wan to poke some hole there..LOL!

i just find out the problem...
compaq laptop not support all types of the headset...

bcos i use EP-630 just one side sound only, but i use philips no problem....

so weird 1 compaq laptop...

previous v3634 is same spec with current v3716 but the selling price already decrease to rm3599.so v3716 is the highest spec model and no more rm3999 model.

the nvidia come with my graphic card lor..after format plus driver instal got liaw lor..check it by rightclick on desktop, select nvidia display, temperature sub-option. i play CS wifout cooler pad..my cooler pad left in rum and i juz bring my lappie down to my frens rum to kill cops!haha the holes are only 1/4 of the entire circle..i saw it after i bought it..tinkin y is the designer that stupid..duh..
yeah!serdang upm here..alot v3k users here too..but all kinda IT-duno-anything.. no prob for yamcha..juz duno wat to tok about..
