here is some review on V3614AU

i really surprise it can play HALO quite well with only 32MB of video memory and 448MB of Ram.

thanks alot BOTAK_WAI...

i think this on board graphic card will boost up to higher RAM usage when needed...dont forget ur GC support untill 256MB...so when system idile it's abt 32-64...when gaming..it will boost up higher..

by the way..quite impressive./

ar...this video driver cannot use o...got the driver u are using de?

dun underestimate current intergrated graphics lol
old games should be ok

....is v3614 only surpport vista?
i can install all the driver except video and sound in xp...
and i am using xp btw...
i found many ppl having my this problem with this go 7150 when it comes to xp driver...u guys all use this model all use vista?

is it necessary to keep the original RAM , if we want to claim warranty for any part spoilt? will HP actually check it's their RAM inside the machine? anyone who claimed warranty b4 and had changed their RAM have experience to share, thanks!

Guys, need ur help on my fren's prob here.
He is using V3000 series now, he tried to reformat his windows but somehow he juz cant do it.
1st- he has another partition which stores his windows vista home basic
edition, but when double click on it, it has nothing inside eventhough he had chosen show hidden files. All the while juz displayed a compaq logo.

2nd- When he try to install windows XP on his machine, he managed to load into the setup screen but the weird thing is tat there was a message poped up n says NO DRIVE IS DETECTED! I think should be somehow it has LOCKED by the laptop.

So, he is really wanted to reformat his laptop, but no matter his own genuine Vista home basic or Windows xp, he ju cant do anything abt it.
So, guys out there, any solution for him? Thanks in a million in advance

my advice is, just keep the original RAM, u can see it has HP warranty sticker on it...

u can upgrade RAM, anything u like...but for safety's sake, put back the RAM with warranty sticker before u send it for warranty repair...if u wan to sell the RAM, wait till warranty ends first..

i checked with pc wizard
if use battery, proc only used 10.8v
if cable pluged in, proc used 12.5v

hi all i finally got my v3614au at pc fair.

this thread really helped me getting all the drivers since the dealers provide shitty drivers.

hey guys...i notice that my F4 key is lower than other key abit....izzit normal? or too frequently i use it then become like tat?

my F4 key just normal la...maybe ur F4 key is weared.

when compaq qill upgrade their system with webcam.

their system do got webcam but not V3k series.

i thought they already did? the B1200, u mean the V3600 series ahh? but for me webcam not much use, of coz if got will be better when there is a time that i need it.

btw, do u guys notice most built in webcam for acer and dell, can't move left and right? or can they? or maybe use SW to control... hehe..

oh yeah, anyone has installed Vista for Au3614? hows the speed? ok?
