the cons of this model which occurs and is not/been fixed?

V3616AU Vista Drivers are below... windows XP drivers might take some time to release it... Geforce 7150 n 6150 doesnt seem to be any different at all...

i suppose V3600 series is using a newer version of the motherboard... the BIOS update on the driver site has a different number from the V3000-V3500 series...

hopefully less problems...

i chat with hp online support. she gave the the link for the driver. but the graphic driver should be for 7150 insead of 6150. she told me that driver for both are same. when i use the 6150 driver, still cant go. so i search for 7150 manually. now the display is ok.

but the problem right now is i dont know what is HP integrated module? donno what device. and my wireless and ethernet still cannot use. in device manager, the broadcom 802.11abg wlan has the yellow (!)mark. why is it happen?

i jus got my V3415AU with a freedos. I got no drivers wit tis lappy...

WinXP installed, others drivers which i could find from de site n provided by LYN also installed... but i still got many yellow questions marks....

de drivers i needed is Graphic, Sound, n lots more... which i dun even know wat is it...

Need help... pls...

try goin to hp website search under drivers ---> V3000 cto....xp,vista and win 2000 are listed accordingly

dude..u might ask in the wrong post..refer back to tthread topic..we discuss only v3 series..however..u can try ask it in pc stores than asking here.

hello all...a new V3415 AU user here...I've got all the driver installed and everything is working perfectly now...shop gave me all the drivers...so i wish i could help...try check which driver you dont have and contact me...see whether i got then i send for you..

actually, i got my laptop(V3415AU) for free from my college as i registered b4 a certain period of their promo... summore i had to wait for almost 10 months till i get it...

Wanna know how does AMD processors perform in other model of Compaq notebooks. I mean the heat issue. Will it be easily heat up compared to Intel?

but also same case....no sound, modem and afew things missing with teh 3614AU drivers

... I solved the problem today... just installed vista op.. everything's okay... audio, graphic, bluetooth ect work fine
