I am on XP as well as I was being told that vista will have problems in this model unless upgrading of ram has been done. as for the battery, not sure hw long it'll last...i am alwiz on AC

RM350 for 3 years and on site sounds tempting

i tot rm190 for a year extend waranty only?if 2 years is rm380.normal package comes with a year waranty.so total offered is 3 year max.

both is 3 years parts & labour but rm350 cover 3 years onsite picup and return service .rm199 u have to walk in to service centre in 3 years warranty period

if now i nearly finish my 1st year waranty and willing to extend..the minimum is rm190 for the next coming 2 years,rite?

u cant upgrade your warranty anymore...the only way is POST WARRANTY that is around rm200-rm250 for another 1 year wrranty

thanks for tellling me ya...i went to towers yest. afternoon...managed to get everything done smoothly..the lady who attended to me talkk to me nicely n surprisingly,she's from penang too..haha..anyway,she told me they'll fix it in 3 working days..hopefully by then,all the sounds will go back to hell d..then i can play aroun my lappie with a happy n peaceful heart..lol..

most of us here also get the 1 with free dos, download the driver from hp webpage lo it can be found in the 1st page

haha..she's a malay le,bro..lol..had a quick chat with her and she asked me to fill in some details..then i cabut d..currently using my bro's lappie when he's not using..!!

btw..i installed vista on it earlier b4 i sent it for repair..under the 'device manger',got two warning or something lidat...one is 'coprocessor' and another is 'unknown device'..both also under the same tab..any idea?

i know in the first page got lots of links...but looking for model Presario V3531...isn't there...
caused...had problems with bluetooth thingy...i can connect to the notebook...but can't send any files to the notebook...its keep failing...wonder why...

are you using Vista Ultimate?...how's the usage?...everything went smoothly?...

mine is a v3415au. Suprisingly i manage to install the driver for the unknown devices. I chatted with the online tech, ask me install the NVd drv set then install the quick launch pad or something. Now in my device manager.. no unknown device. no more yellow question mark.

ps.: I use original WXP la.

may i know the link to get the driver. just got myself a v3415au. as it is freedos, planning to install WinXP....looking into the website found only a couple of driver (such as touchpad).. where do i get the rest of the driver??

haha..to whoever it is..not only u,my fren..hehe..anyway..yup,i'm using vista ultimate..erm,quite slow..my ram baru 512mb..tak cukup to reli get it move tat fast yet i guess..need to get more ram for the hungry vista..i like most of it compared to winxp..minow changes here n there..but i like it..so far no plans to move back to winxp yet...haha...

as for the unknown device thingy..i guess shud be the quicklaunch thingy...juz the 'coprocessor' thingy..might be due to my dual core processor..any idea from any pros out there??

the notebook that i got...built-in 1gb ram...but for me...it isn't working efficiently and smoothly...don't know for others...
seems that need to upgrade into 2gb ram...

Im using CrystalMark to display my lappy information. model v3250au. Disk(hard disc) = Model(SAMSUNG HM080HI), Interface(SATA) Max mode(SATA/150) Current mode(SATA/150) Is this mean my hard disc supported sata?
