i also hav no idea with that since not using any s/ware to display the heat temp on that area..

i already add 2g RAM means rite now using 2.5Ghz.. is that the factor my temp rises? coz set my GC to 512MB ram..
yeah n i bought a cooler pad too during upgrading the RAM.. n then i put the blower fan direct to the fan inlet at the top left of the lappy since its started to produce more heat (90-96C) during play games.. n now up to 104 even only scan viruses! is that will spoil the lappie cooler fan?
*
im also using 2GB DDR2 667 RAM...I dont think ram got anything to do with the heat....coz heat also same b4 i add ram...

my best guess is that ur processor fan maybe rosak ady..maybe not functioning...turn ur lappy around and check see the fan got spin or not...

u must be using dxdiag to check the GC RAM...that one i also dun undastand...i recomend u use GPUZ and everest ultimate to check ur GC RAM and ur processor heat and HDD heat...

QUOTE(otailevel @ Jan 15 2008, 07:48 PM)

*
so far i nvr see it exceeds 85 yet...but seriously..i compare my lappy to other ppl, our GPU very hot d la..intel one oni abt 50++...as for later version of V3000...their GC also wont be that hot...

long time no news?no updates or chats..quite quiet in here...
btw..how long would it take for ur lappie to log in windows?from the start when u see the windows loading page till everything in the taskbar ready.
*
dude//thanks for concern..appreciated..

i come to this forum everyday and dont see much updates like not long ago..=)

well, i havent time that...but my windows booting screen loads around 5 to 6 cycle only..and im quite happy about it right now...

windows start up time depends also...if u set proc to 800MHZ, u will get a slower one..

by the way, how about your windows start up time??

booting fast..after i see the wallpaper..getting ready from taskbar is slow..my antivirus, firewall is making it slow to be ready in use..duh..hate that..
*
piece of cake ma...

type msconfig in your Run...then configure the start up application lo...

for firewall, you can disable it...and for antivirus, use light antivirus like AVG ok liao...i use it for years d..havent have any problem...if really kena powerful virus, then only install powerful antivirus..LOL

good antivirus will slow ur system down alot...

besides, you can disable your wireless too...if u r not using....it will speed up alot too..

don use avs means no antivirus for my lappie?
in upm online without antivirus which is as comparable as kaspersky is meant to expose ursf to dangerous incoming virus attacks..i cant take that risk..

however i oso found that notebook hardware control v2 also makes my lappie lag in startup..damn damn.. rclxub.gif
*
just uncheck those not so important application and dont let them to start automatically when u start windows lo..

then should be faster d..

actually i was wandering how it measures the temp?thermometer build inside?wat does gpu stands for?i juz noe it shudnt go up rise nia.haha tongue.gif

93C is a 'best' record for ur lappie now?woooo... shocking.gif
*
try open up ur HDD casing, then u will see a small device right beside HDD...that must be the heat sensoring device i guess...and i think they have one beside GPU as well...

GPU stands for Graphic Processing Unit...correct me if im wrong...

some time really feel tulan when see the heat goes untill 93c...

but i still dont undastand...if really 93C, turn ur lappy around, then u can goreng telur liao...

but when i touch the bottom, not that hot also..

someone plz tell us where is the GPU....need to know where exactly it is...

Added on January 23, 2008, 4:17 pmok..when i check using the Nvdia Geforce temperature level...the core slow down threshold is 130c....so does it mean that around 100c is normal??? LOL!

many heaty problems....... my laptop too of v3011au ori model, but change board a few times, so current board unknown.

could it be the design that causes such high temp?
*
the air ventilation must be the problem/....the heat sink fan opening and all the design is too lousy for this lappy to throw heat!..stupid i would say...

for those later model..they have better air ventilation...check out C731...u will be surprise..
