Guys,

anybody using v3250AU here? How is the performance when playing games? is the graphic nice? Can you play new games? i just bought V3250AU and want to compare them bcoz when i install rainbow 6 lockdown, the games is not very smooth. Or is there anybody using other notebooks using the same graphic chipset. This model uses geforce go 6150. Anybody know how to make it smooth?

install Windows XP with Service Pack 2,
install the Microsoft Dual Core hotfix,
install the AMD Dual Core Turion 64 X2 CPU driver
install the AMD Dual Core Optimizer

optional:
install AMD Power Monitor to easily switch between power options...

set power option to minimal power management. should be fine...

you may go to bios to make the share memory of the gc higher
but your 512 ram I think it will max at 64 only.
just get another stick of 1gb, its around RM130+-.

Bro, surprise in what sense? Higher performance-based gameplay, considering this laptop runs on a Celeron processor?

thx for the info kane. this is my first laptop, so i forgot abt the memory sharing. i already checked the bios, and no wonder the game is so slow, the video memory is only 32MB. i managed to increase only up to 128MB max, and for sure it's still not enough. guess i'll hv to buy another 512MB. But, can i buy them at low yat? is it the same as desktop pc i.e can any ram work on my laptop? is it easy to upgrade a laptop ram? Pls share your experience. Thx.

Basic Knowledge of disk maintainance:

For NTFS partitions, when there are too many files, the MFT becomes full this will cause the pc to lag/slow down significantly during normal everyday task... therefore you need to expand the MFT. use Diskeeper to defrag it efficiently and to Frag Shield in Diskeeper to expand the MFT. this will ensure that your pc will run smoothly in a long run and feels just like the day u first turn it on.

MFT - Master File Table

do a chkdsk <system partition letter>:/f from command prompt now n then before the computer starts up to ensure optimal performance.
