For V3000 series there is 3 version Intel Max at 512MB AMD (V31XX) MAX at 256MB AMD (V3222 onwards) MAX at 128MB but in windows the drivers compress and optimised to 512MB (mine is V3222 and i'm running at 128MB and drivers optimised to 512MB) do not know how.... |

Just want to add info here, i saw a promotion in lowyat, Compaq V series too, Centrino Duo 2.0Ghz and the best price is RM2620 but the model have no bluetooth and anti scratch coating

Getting Started

hey guys,
bought a compaq presario V3250AU last week and received it yesterday. it comes without windows, only open source freedos. guess it's just a dos program. they also don't have proper manual. got to ask everybody on how to charge the battery. and then later got one problem. after installing the windows xp myself, the audio didn't work. i thought windows xp got drivers for every hardware. HP don't even bother to give a driver cd. Anybody here bought the same model? any problem with the driver installation. Pls share your experience. Thanks.

Do it before your warranty expires ..good luck mate .. |
