hi all compaq users!!
im thinking of buying one of the v3000 series but dunno which processor is the best, could you guys enlighten me the pros and cons between intel core 2 duo VS amd turion 64 x2?? but i know amd is much cheaper

yo broz.. i juz added a stick of 512mb using kingston ram.. i am not sure if my ram is running in dual channel o not... can any1 plz tell me how should i know? thanks a lot..

Added on April 27, 2007, 9:57 amc2d operates in a low temp and turion is higher.. make sure it is c2d and not cd(core duo).. cd is hot and speed is not there.. i recommend c2d for sure... if budget is concern, get the turion and muz b x2... But Core2duo is using intel950, which does not support Vista Aero interface if u intend to install Vista later, AMD using Geforce Go6150 which support Aero. Price wise i think now not much different.... |

i do try install another version of driver and windows xp as well but it just doesn't help. Keep shuting down when i run some 3D stuffs. It's really a GEFORCE GO 7200 coz it just accept nvidia driver and denied intel based graphic driver. i'm gonna mad very soon!!! Attached thumbnail(s)

But for external speaker i still didnt tried it. well im not specifying on mute button only...it also doesn't work when i mute manually through the audio device in vista.... |

but c2d is using integrated intel 950 and and turion is using nvidia geforce, which is better performance especially gaming wise? Thanks

There's something I don't rely understand..
day by day my HDD space gets reduced bit by bit.. its like 2 days reduced 1 GB of space..
It's not virus etc..
Anyone have such experience?

guess the manufacture install wrong graphic card, that perhaps is for the hp dv22x series.
