Added on April 27, 2007, 9:57 amc2d operates in a low temp and turion is higher.. make sure it is c2d and not cd(core duo).. cd is hot and speed is not there.. i recommend c2d for sure... if budget is concern, get the turion and muz b x2... But Core2duo is using intel950, which does not support Vista Aero interface if u intend to install Vista later, AMD using Geforce Go6150 which support Aero. Price wise i think now not much different.... |

wow...i like the new compaq design, hope the new santa rosa can have it for less than RM3500 without OS.

This AMD V3417 seem like a good buy at RM2699 with 2.0GHz processor and 1GB RAM...is it out??

yeah..i like V3417 and V3514 as both come with DOS, can save RM300 at least..but V3417 is RM600 cheaper..so i think it make sense to save RM600 and go for AMD TurionX2.
John_Jay, is V3417 out? if yes pls PM me with price, wanna upgrade to 2GB..

i accidentally deleted the DOS and now cant install Window, anywhere can i download it? and the instruction to install DOS?

V3244, now i can install winXP no problem, but when install Vista, it was saying BOOTMGR was missing and i cant proceed to install Vista...any idea?
Added on July 6, 2007, 10:54 pmBought 1GB x 2 Kingston DDRII 667 for my V3244, seem like tha RAM causing my notebook to crash...strange..i though Kingston has the best compatibility RAM...
