No harm trying as you just have the phone ysterday. Could be unknown bug.

It will work as it will detect sim 2 slot is active. Same as Redmi Note 3, (slot in only nano sim and not the micro sim)


Agree, could be due to waze (screen,GPS & mobile data, +weak coverage? - 3 of the most battery drain activity) + spotify (weak coverage = more drain + mobile data)

Weak Coverage=more battery usage, happen to my wife note 2+zerolemon 9.3k battery.

Eventhou internet speed are quite ok, but signal only 0-1 bar only her SOT only 8-9hours

After telco install new tower at my perumahan area, from 0-1bar to full bar now minimum SOT 15 hours

And btw, Waze battery usage are quite high normaly people charging their phone while using waze in the car (I assume you the same)

What apps you mainly use How good is signal coverage?

new phone factory reset less painful lo.. imagine with a ton of data/settings, need to restore them.. well this is my opinion only.. just sharing..

4 hours sot and left 40% is quit nice already bro if u do on data always my mediatek x10 rmn3 just reach 5 2 6 hours sot then kong batery jor

in some cases like gaming. i mean if u compare 2gb vs 3gb same phone model and same OS la. 2gb ram actually can run very smooth. i have a htc butterfly which using marshmallow right now running even smoother than others. and specs just snapdragon 801 with 2gbram. so still depends on OS optimization. MIUI ram hunger. haha

Im impressed with this phone compare to my note 5.

Very fast, typing very smooth and fingerprint sensor super fast and no need to tap any button to wake up sensor.

Below 1k phone compare to more than 2k phone i believe rn3 is a very good phone with awesome price.

i see, which rom can run well under 2gb condition?

if not heavy gaming, basically u wont notice much different compare to 3gb ram. i prefer u use miui global stable rom. i think it is comes with originally right? haha. now latest version is 7.2.3.0. i dont prefer you flash to custom rom. not stable so far.

Got my rn3 from mi.com just now at noon by FEDEX

Unboxed, molested and found got one 2mm hair line scratch and 1 dot. No an issue for me la.

Setting up everything until i reach the home screen. Straight away update to latest firmware. 192MB less than 10mins of download in office.

14:11pm battery level was 40%. Plugged to charger and cable provided

while charging, testing the camera, and play youtube to test video and audio. impressive.

then went to Google Play to install all instant messaging apps, games, social medias. Not yet try the asphalt game yet.

16:00pm battery level at 100% full

Surprisingly at 70% the phone body not so hot anymore.

Added : the back vertical rectangle plastic film is easy to take off. leave not adhesive stain at all..

Done. Still same. Only when the setting up screen time I setup, when in home screen, I tried to register new fingerprint, cannot. :/

Oops.. 2 more options i can think of :

i) Have u updated to latest ROM? if not try if it fixes the issue.

ii) Saw a forum mention similar issue, the fix was :
- Delete finger print registration from your phone
- Reboot the phone
- Re-register fingerprint with your finger

Fingers crossed, it worked for now. hopefully nothing will happen later.

Now need to check the wallpaper change.

EDIT: Wallpaper can change now. Now need to check what else it's malfunction.
