Hi guys, I'm facing this issue. I tried to register my fingerprint on my Redmi Note 3. Upon insert the passcode twice, it jumped back to the setting page. Any idea what's going on?

Not only this. There are few things I do, after did the required procedures, it came back to the original page. :/

I'm using Snapdragon 650. Malaysia Set.

Done. Still same. Only when the setting up screen time I setup, when in home screen, I tried to register new fingerprint, cannot. :/

Fingers crossed, it worked for now. hopefully nothing will happen later.

Now need to check the wallpaper change.

EDIT: Wallpaper can change now. Now need to check what else it's malfunction.

Okay. New problem arise; when I tried to make calls, it says permission denied. Lol wtf?

This is really a panic moment for me.

Yes it is related to launcher problem. Initially I used Nova launcher @ Mi3, everything no problem. So since I am so confortable with Nova on my previous Mi3, I used it here as well. Turns out the blue little phone is not usable and had to use the stock phone to be able to make calls. I think there's some permission related issues but I never want to go that far since I already have my problem solved.

TL;DR, if use nova launcher, swap the blue icon with stock, a.k.a green color icon will do.

EDIT: Let me see if I still able to find out any issues. And my wallpaper goes out of focus. :/

Yeah, just did. see when it goes out of focus again.

Go camera app, swipe left, got setting icon there.

For those who wants to preserve the almighty "Power button", you can use Nova Launcher. They have the double tap to screen lock feature. Wake using fingerprint and double to lock screen, you can kiss your power button goodbye.

If im not mistaken this device don't have that feature. Unless you don't mind changing it to another launcher. .

Anyhow, I used this phone for 2 days. I must say the battery life is really awesome. Maybe because I was a Mi3 user previously, I know all the tricks and stuff to maximize the battery. Went out just now at 12 in the afternoon, charged until 98%. Now it sits on 40%.

Guys mind to share tricks and stuff to maximize battery life?

I uninstall all the pre-loaded app that allow to uninstall. Using go-keyboard now. Been using it since I started using android. No problem whatsoever.

Just restore factory setting? I could be wrong though.

It seem like many people having issues with their Redmi Note 3. I am glad that my problem not really that critical after all.

If you want to change the launcher, I can suggest you nova launcher. It comes with tap to off screen.

Anyways, anyone have any idea how to make the camera picture more nicer? Did all the tweaking in camera settings but still lack a little to me. :/

Tried Camera360. Too fancy to me.

ColorOs eh? I can't find it in google store.
