Getting Started

QUOTE(xyber9 @ Apr 15 2016, 02:30 PM) To determine the number of hours to charge your phone:- Phone battery mA/Charger output mA In the case of Redmi Note 3 approximately 4000/2000 = 2 hours. Charging longer produce heat which will decrease the live span of the battery. Lithium Ion battery has no memory effects so no need to drain the battery completely before recharging except the first few cycle of charging where we need do the full discharge. I think you got it wrong, Redmi Note 3 is not Lithium Ion, its lithium polymer. And yes, it need priming. Open the aps 'Ampere Battery' and scroll down to see, or refer to GSMarena

for redmi3, not the note.
it has dual sim, 1 for micro, 1 for nano. i heard the first sim must be micro.
question is if i only use 1 sim, and it's nano, can work?

My sis Mate 8 easily hit 7 to 8 hrs for 2 days I have the same impression. Not that impressed with the battery. 3hrs SOT with 40% left Guess could be using with 2 sim and weak sim1 coverage. Used mostly for waze and Spotify. Not sure if this is the reason.

Can. Which means you're taking up the sd card slot. I only have nano.. Plan to get the converter to micro so i can put in my sd card

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Apr 15 2016, 02:40 PM) Hi guys, I'm facing this issue. I tried to register my fingerprint on my Redmi Note 3. Upon insert the passcode twice, it jumped back to the setting page. Any idea what's going on? Not only this. There are few things I do, after did the required procedures, it came back to the original page. :/ I'm using Snapdragon 650. Malaysia Set. I need help on this.

QUOTE(Casey Joo @ Apr 15 2016, 10:45 AM) Perhaps it's the waking up radio often for data that's hitting the standby time. I think FB app is the one that does the most damage. Should be around 6-7hours of SOT for FB usage on 3g/4g mode. Nvm waiting for my unit to sampai //OT So far, using zenfone max (5k battery) maximum online for FB Offical Apps usage are 7-8hours with SOT of 10 hours, 2days standby b4 hitting 5% (3g/4g mode), maximum so far 11 hours. While for my wife note 2+zerolemon 9.3k battery easily minimum 15 hours on-wards with 2-3 days standing by (mainly FB usage, Whatsapp/weechat/etc notification all on, sync all active and so on) (3g mode) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
