QUOTE(tesh94 @ Apr 11 2016, 06:50 PM) ady emailed the seller. hopefully will get a reply soon enough. Previous patch I noticed the authentication page won't come out even if I tried going to random website before login. was there an issue with the wifi authentication with the previous patch ? After patch, I will be redirected to the authentication page if I try to go random website before login. The authentication page still doesn't come out automatically though. |

Updated to 7.2.3.0
So far I noticed the keyboard didn't change by itself any more. It stays with Swiftkey eventhough I cleared memory and cache. Let's hope it stays that way! Right now, waiting for them to fix Wifi authentication page to comes up automatically and include fingerprint as selfie shutter key. |

QUOTE(N33d @ Apr 12 2016, 08:59 AM) got my unit from G5 yesterday YES THIS. UGH. MY OCD TINGLES WHEN MY LEFT THUMB TOUCHES THE TRAY.after whole night playing with that phone. i am quite satisfy with it's performance. best budget phone under 1k also i like its weight and size, fit my hand comfortable compared to my nexus 6p. it's battery life is good, 3 hrs SOT i still got 50% left to play with whereas my 6p will get to 20% left. just that i got used to my 6p amoled, stock andriod plus some minor build quality issue like sim tray does not align properly after slotted in. QUOTE(Imp Bron @ Apr 12 2016, 09:04 AM) Guys do redmi three touch sensor seperate with screen or the touch sensor build in with screen. Not too sure if anyone cracks their phone to find out about that LOL!Wanna recommend xiomi to mom but my younger brother mi3 screen give me nightmare. Mi3 have build in touchsensor in screen display. If screen crack cannot use dy. Expensive to repair. I like phone that build touch screen sensor and lcd screen separately. Cheaper to repair that way if broken. What bout rn3, should I recommend it to my mom? I like the extra battery but I wanna know the touchscreen design first. How the mi3 got broken? Did you use tempered glass or normal SP? |

QUOTE(Imp Bron @ Apr 12 2016, 09:29 AM) I doubt CS can give answer to technical question. Theytend to only know generic answer. cracked 3 times, all used tempered glass. 2 of the time cracked in front pocket. I brother said many complain about mi3 lcd build quality. expensive wor to repair if touchscreen are build in into lcd. QUOTE(chaosneo @ Apr 12 2016, 11:12 AM) the back sticker is a pain in the ass. it left some glue mark. i will comment on the phone after a week use. the matte protector is still on it until i replace it with a tempered glass SP. If you can get some isopropyl alcohol (i think cd head cleaner alcohol works too, but not sure about it leaving residue or not), drop some onto the sticker and let the alcohol work on the glue for awhile, then start peeling it and use a soft cloth to rub off the remaining glue.this was the method i used. now the back is clean and nice. QUOTE(karheng @ Apr 12 2016, 11:45 AM) haven't got time unbox yet, is the matte sp is real usable or just the "matte plastic" to protect the screen in the box? The matte plastic is "usable" but the front camera will be blurry. if only they cut holes for the front camera QUOTE(elisa1027 @ Apr 12 2016, 12:43 PM) Hello all tos game?My redmi note 3 3GB restarted for 5/6 times mostly when I was logging to the tos game. QUOTE(elisa1027 @ Apr 12 2016, 05:45 PM) Yes tower of saviors Erm I tried the button method but tak jadi. Still restarted after updating Planned to send for warranty before trying hard reset BTW what is the hard reset keys? Thank you I was told it was volume up + power button after shutting down the phone. Then I malas d, just do the software method. Settings - Additional settings - Backup & reset - Factory data reset - Reset phone (right at the most bottom) Btw, those updated to 7.2.3.0, did you guys face any problem with fingerprint unlock? What happen to mine was, when I try to fingerprint unlock without turning on the screen, the screen will unlock but then it will immediately turns black again. It wouldn't properly unlock until I press the pin or turn on the screen and then fingerprint it. |

QUOTE(Morpheus2be @ Apr 13 2016, 06:22 PM) I don't know why I bothered to buy from Mi.com If I didn't go self collect from FeDeX last week on the 7th, I would probably just got my phone today, or tomorrow. It's been sitting in the FedEx warehouse in Kota Damansara since Friday, 8th April. I have no idea how cheap FedEx is charging Xioami....but please la. Don't use FedEx anymore. Poslaju is faster than this. I'm even in KL and FedEx couldn't even schedule a delivery for me. It's been nearly a week. Lazada now have same day delivery. So disappointed. Just ranting... |

QUOTE(mr_boonez @ Apr 14 2016, 09:17 PM) received my 32gb gold unit today. too bad i didn't order the casing together...now thinking whether use it or wait for a casing. it's much more thin than my current phone, worried will slip from my hand..haha it's protective cover, not exactly a proper screen protector. but if you could cut a hole for the front camera, it's good to go so far, it's a fast phone..of course when comparing my old HTC unit..the fingerprint sensor was fast..i noticed the phone came with a layer of screen protector but totally covering the front camera! |

QUOTE(fishmango @ Apr 16 2016, 11:34 AM) while calling via whatapps, the locked screen can't unlock by fingerprint ID(no response touching it), only can unlock by pressing power button and then pin number. yeah, i think i sometimes face this issue as well but not with whatsapp call.Anyone got simple way to unlock screen in this case with pressing power button? not too sure what causes this bug though. unfortunately i too am looking for a way to prevent myself from pressing the power button LOL |
