The trick is here, usually after application immediately i will receive email from maybank saying my application is approved in principal, with reference number. Anyhow, at M2U still manage to get the application date, ie card -> m2u transaction. I will now write in for the waiver.

if cust resolution still refuse to waive, tell them to write a letter stating so, we use the letter and report to BNM.



when you apply if it is showing 0%, even if they put all t&c stating must be approve within campaign period etc.

but we should argue bck, either they waive the 3% fee or they should REJECT the whole BT.

as we agree 0% during our application of BT, so it should not incur any additional charges.

if they say its already over the promo campaign, then what should they do is to REJECT the entire BT and NOT straight charge 3% fee.

hence escalate to cust resolution.

argument is they should either waive the interest or reject the whole BT.

as when apply only agree to 0%.

ask cust resolution to waive, tell them straight, if still unable to settle, cust resolution to reply and
you will raise to BNM

no harm giv their cust resolution team a try.

maybank cust resolution team is by far one of the best i seen, among so many banks, far exceeds my expectation.

after raise my issue to them, their assistant VP cust resolution handle the case personally and keep me updated on the status from time to time.

after finding solution where both party agrees, case resolved.

to my surprise, they even send some goodies (cookies) to my address after the entire episode is resolved amicably.

yes. affin known to always do this.
not sure why.
i'm using Maxis btw, same prob.

but no worries, they will keep calling at diff timing, eventually the call will get thru to you.

RHB online BT 0% 12 mths, final 2 days to go.

No worries of delay as funds received on the same day!

Really impressed by their Superb speed.

not sure any other bank can match the speed of RHB online BT

Previously they limit to 1 time 0% BT only for ETB cust.
But this round, can't find the clause in their t&c.

submitted affin BT since last friday 24/1/25 morning.
still no calls received till now.
they should seriously considering adopt a system of online BT like many other banks did eg. MBB, RHB or PBB and get rid of all these manual phone calls doh.gif

everyone is facing the same prob with affin BT call cut off within 1 or few secs of ring.

affin they should just proceed the BT when every information is correct without the need for a call.
