recently try to add more credit card for the purpose of "credit" then do more "bt" and i was told that Standard Chartered Bank need us to have at least 8k salary else they wont even help us to submit as this is their minimum requirement. I always thought 2k basic and 24k annual salary is all it takes then you have higher salary they give you higher limit.. that is like my math on credit card... anyone has any idea, is this a standard charted rules or is BNM trying to put some control in place so ppl with low salary will not get credit card?
this a SC thing.beginning of this year, they change all their cards, including the most entry level card min annual salary to RM96k.
plus reluctant to waive AF or rebate for SST for existing cardholders.
