I am sure they won't hahaha 🤣😂
RHB always have zero BT once a year but this year their offer lasted quite long
*
so far RHB BT is the best in terms of speed.
immediate approval sms after application and get money the next working day.

*

Anyone got experience how long it takes for Affinbank BT to transfer to the credit card listed?

I received their SMS on BT approval on Friday afternoon 3.44pm. Do you think the money can be transferred by today or need another 2 working days?

Cause one of it is due today but I know normally Public Bank and Maybank got 1 or 2 days grace period for it.
*
they takes few working days to transfer.
slowest speed among all banks BT

Just fyi, flexipay on affin duo visa will reduce its outstanding balance.

yup.. this month probably need to forgo the RM3k spending for RM50 cb nxt statement.
but it will even split into 6 and adds on to 6 months statement balance.
so plus minus almost the same tongue.gif tongue.gif

i called before and kena game by them
i lazy to file a formal complain to BNM

my complain is very simple:
1. UOB cannot even tell me when i need to settle my outstanding of my Zero BT before they start to charge me interest
2. UOB bill me base on my statement date and when i pay base on statement due date (20 days after my statement date) yet i kena interest because my zero bt expired on 11th Jan and due was on 20th Jan and i was charged interest of 9 days on my next statement
3. UOB website does not make it simple for me to know when is the last day that my special zero bt ends vs HLB that has written very clearly. UOB is just trying to hide it.
4. Conclusion - UOB is somehow trying to profit from me by keeping the information hidden since talking to their agent on Jan 13th they are not able tell me my exact date that my zero bt ends and paying on statement date causes me to kena interest for 9 days!

this complain i never send to BNM because my finance charges of 9 days got waived lo...
if they dont want waive please use the above point send to BNM and modify a bit la... dont lie to BNM as they will really investigate the matter
if can settle - try to find a win win situation before BNM lo
*
very legit point you have here.
even in the statement they wanted to charge interest from 11 Jan, the bank shall state clearly 11 Jan as the date we must pay in order to enjoy the 0% interest.
(eg like HLB case) they should not hide it and charge us interest straight from 11 Jan.

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Jul 24 2024, 02:26 PM)
Nice, thanks for the confirmation. Then I'll wait next month after paying my statement then where the remaining credit is more. Good to cover back Maybank BT and also as part of the RM3K requirement for maximising RM50 rebate.   flex.gif
*
there is 1 thing i don't quite like about affin BT is that the monthly repayment amount will reflect in your CCRIS monthly repayment amt.
no big issue if you are not applying anything.
but this might affect your DSR if you plan to apply new loan, esp if you do large amount BT to max the credit limit.

so far only affin do this, not any other bank do this.
not sure why they did this and how would this benefit them at all.

i thought BC stands for balance conversion
i think it's based on current outstanding balance amount
and there is flexibility to choose a lower amount

Did yours get waive? CS told me she will help me file a report but got say no guarantee will success. seems like no hope liao since clearly stated in the TnC  sad.gif

when you apply.
is it the amount showing 0%?

if it is showing 0%, then they can put all t&c stating must be approve within campaign period etc.

but we should argue bck, either they waive the 3% fee or they should REJECT the whole BT.

as we agree 0% during our application of BT, so it should not incur any additional charges.

if they say its already over the promo campaign, then what should they do is to REJECT the entire BT and NOT straight charge 3% fee.

I applied on 31 July 2024 early morning 8am somemore and called the bank that day but the CS says due to today (Wed) is the last date of this promotion, it will be slightly delayed.

Then only next morning i received approved SMS at 10:01 (Thursday)

it's very bad of MAYBANK to "trick" unsuspecting cardholders.
*
as i said before, this is a very strong case.

if they refuse to waive the 3%, escalate to their customer resolution team.

if cust resolution still refuse to waive, tell them to write a letter stating so, we use the letter and report to BNM.

Yes. BT promo 12 months 0% for Aug 24 only.
Login to RHB online banking to apply BT, very easy process.
Not even need to call or anything.

and the interesting part is you can do multiple times BT with min RM1k.
each time BT max 80% of credit limit. whistling.gif whistling.gif

How do you know that it's possible to perform multiple times?
Cause I read the T&C and it is not written explicitly that multiple BT application is allowed.
*
i already done that and all approved whistling.gif

lets say your credit limit 100k, u can do max 80k.
2nd time its 80% of the remaining 20k credit limit and so on
