latest call on LRT ampang line, hopefully better LRT service effective 17 july 2016
There will be no LRT services for the Ampang Line on July 7 and 8, effectively the second and third day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Meanwhile, commuters will be able to travel seamlessly between Putra Heights and Sentul Timur LRT stations onboard the new six-car LRT trains effective July 17 onwards. Upon completion, the Rapid Rail would introduce two new operation modes, the LRT Sri Petaling Line between Putra Heights and Sentul Timur, and the LRT Ampang Line for services between Chan Sow Lin and Ampang. With the new operations modes, customer travelling from Ampang to either Sentul Timur or Putra Heights need to disembark and switch trains at Chan Sow Lin station to enter Sri Petaling Line from July 17 onwards. QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 17 2016, 01:31 PM) Because it's serving Setiawalk only, construction paid for by SP Setia. I would use it udirng peak hours between 6pm-8pm. But other times, using the U-turn below will be marginally faster to reach home, although I had a bad experience there (accident). |

If want to go ampang that line, just hop in, then disembark at chan sow lin and go to opposite platform take the train. The Ampang line train will only serve from Ampang to chan sow lin then move back to Ampang. This post has been edited by owenwong84: Jun 18 2016, 02:11 AM |
