Those who drive to work place, do your feel the traffic flow along the LDP golden mile any better during rush hours after the opening of LRT stations in Puchong ?

I've experienced twice the old train from S.Petaling to PWTC, all the way silent, no station names announcement and no change platform notification at Chan Sow Lin station at all.
I'm sure it will greatly affect the foreign tourist or first time LRT user.

Shall we talk about the shuttle bus service at all the Puchong LRT stations ?
My nearest station BK5 is still without shuttle bus service to serve the last mile transfer since opening last Nov.
Those without car, no driving lisence still finding hard to enjoy the LRT service.

Thanks. I thought BK route 501 rapid now taken over by the stupid Metro Bus ?

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Apr 13 2016, 10:11 AM)
I'm vaguely aware that there might be a shuttle bus that stops near my house but in the absence of a reliable schedule, I'd prefer to walk.  Luckily the PBP station is within walking distance for me.
*
My house to BK station is 2km walk. Can not walk la, the UV damaged to the skin is even more costlier.
Those living in BK 6 lagi far. Maybe 6 or 7 km away from station.

Some much hype about integrated Klang Valley transportation system when the last mile is still an old problem since the inception of LRT.

If ever we have feeder service for the last mile, then no need so troublesome.

Do share with us, how you managed to keep the room temperature unbelievably low at 28c without aircond from morning till 9pm when all of us here having 32/33C room temperature.

Insulation, insulation, insulation. Last night I didn't on my aircon even.

How you insulate until the 28c cool air can't even escape from your room ? More so you don't even double glazed your window yet.

My insulation is primarily for heat.  For noise, I'm told laminated glass is what you want for your windows.
*
How do you insulate the ceiling of your room to repel the heat radiation from the top?

'Don't remember for sure, I think it was RM5000+, but this includes the aluminium battens on the roof joists to keep robbers from getting in.

Wow..! Money well spent and now enjoying the benefit.
