Atleast 25-26c for comfortable sleep I usually have the aircon on in the bedroom only from the Lunar New Year period until about June like that, and not every day, only during the hottest days. The rest of the year, most of the time no need liao. |

QUOTE(bereev @ Apr 19 2016, 07:17 AM) Agree TESCO should be charge the parking fees at least same rate as LRT parking , but can be rebate if purchase over certain amount in TESCO Passengers are sitting down in the train. You may not see them from below. btw i still see the LRT very empty it is just like a joke for Prasarana. Try to take the train especially during peak times. |

The LRT ridership is low probably due to the time taken to reach the destination is longer than driving there. There are so many stops at the stations along the route especially if you are going to KL city centre. The fare is not economical too.

If we are to convert our fare to other currency, it's reasonable.
Probably take time to change ppl mentality to switch over and like 1 forumer said, they hv to speed up the speed |

Access to the Pusat Bandar Station is not very obvious if you are driving. You have to keep your eyes peeled for the sign directing you to turn left and make a long detour to get to the parking lot. Once you're already level with the station, you've passed the turn off. You can turn in at Tesco, but again, you're faced with another roundabout drive to get to the parking lot. The IOI Mall station is much friendlier in terms of access. Also, getting to the station from the surrounding commercial precinct on foot is not straightforward. In many cases, you're looking at a long walk under the hot sun. In more enlightened countries, you have underpasses to connect two areas separated by a busy road, instead of an overhead pedestrian bridge which present you with a long flight of steps. With an underpass, you won't need to spend money on electricity to run the escalators, which of course, also frequently breakdown and once in a while swallow up people when they are hungry.

The low ridership according to my persona opinion
1) RM4 park and ride too high. 2) LRT fare price hike. 3) No feeder service. 4) Train travelling too slow. Travelling time too long. 5) Need to change platform at S.Petaling. 6) 7) Eg. Travelling to Hang Tuah station from IOI Mall station to Hang Tuah, single journey token fare is RM4.00 + RM4.00 parking. Total cost of travelling is RM8 and time spent to and fro estimate 2.5 hours Home > LYP > home (including parking, walking and waiting for train) If you plan to go to Lowyat Plaza to do a 1 or 2 hours warranty claim, would you rather drive (not during super peak rush hours) or take the LRT ?? Another thing I just found out is that the fare from BK5 to Hang Tuah is RM4.30 but Puteri to Hang Tuah is only RM3.60. 4 stations further but cheaper by 70sen. how come ar ?? They did build a few of those tunnel along ldp but people stop using them because of robbery and also urine stench smell. |
