rm 129 - 100mbps
rm 169 - 300mbps
rm 249 - 500mbps

but it is by the distributor, BUT using time's email

he said promo last until 24th august, should proceed or not

From my point of view also, TIME will not do any upgrade because mostly in condo's UNIFI and MAXIS cannot support pure fibre, only VDSL. So, no matter what TIME can claim they are 100% fibre optic and uses this strong point for them. If you do not want TIME, then stick back to UNIFI or MAXIS (no upgrade at all)

Hi I'm currently using Unifi 50Mbps@rm199 and very satisfied but been wanting to get the Time 100Mbps@rm149 as I don't watch tv.

How is the stability with Time fibre? What's your connection speed when viewing this  8k youtube video? (right click stats for nerds)

Not same. Got choice because other players are there.

I understand router and interference can affect the speed, this is why my HTPC is connected through LAN and still Youtube buffering. I even tried VPN to see it maybe TIME does some throttling, but still same issue. Though test speed will give close to max speed. I don't know how they manage to do that.

Probably depends on the area too. But good for you that TIME works well (no sarcasm at all), I wish it was the case for me. I'm stuck with Time because our landlord provides it, but we're moving soon, so now I can finally choose TIME/Maxis/TM

Early morning test with my Maxis fibre 10Mbps line to Time's speedtest server.  Performed on 10 year old laptop with built in 802.11g card, using a third-party non-official wireless router loaded with OpenWRT (the superb Thomson router died).

So, based on my discussions with TIME customer support and people enjoying excellent speeds in this thread, I conclude that you must:

- use LAN or WiFi 802.11a/802.11ac
- use certain browsers only, with no add-ons/extensions
- use a newer router such as AC1200 (not the DIR850L that old customers like me are using)
- stay in certain areas

If you do not satisfy even one of the requirements above, TIME will not entertain your complaints about slow speeds
