just wondering, what do you guys do on your smartphone till need 300mbps?

im already 1 month subscribed to TIME, i know i get 1 month free but is there any bill for the first month?

i got some questions to ask:

1. time said i get 1 month free but why am i being charged now when i just started using it for 1 month?

2. how come got RM10 stamp duty charge?

3. I was charged RM24.39 for something related on the first 3 days I get the broadband. Why?

Just verified and they actually charge me for this month's bill, meaning 04/06/16 - 07/06/16 - RM24.39 and 08/06/16 - 08/07/16 - RM189.

the expected speed should also be 100mbps, but it could vary depending on the signal strength reaching your device.

anyone in penang experiencing low download speed?

just now im lagging in game and when i did speedtest, sometimes i get only 2mbps download.

LAN1 light on but not blinking on huawei but on dlink the internet light is blinking orange

having some issues with my internet, speedtest showing 200mbps upload/download instead of the usual 300mbps.

anyone having similar issues?

upload speed seems fine but download speed is just terribad. anyone else having this issue?

edit: contacted customer service and according to them penang area is having some issue that they're still working on troubleshooting.

im pretty sure Time's own DNS blocks certain websites, especially those porn sites. I've come across that page a few times when on Time's own DNS.

you can basically do all 3 at the same time and don't feel lag, that's how good time fibre is.

as for services, my experiences tell me that time fibre is decent.

CS is okayish, I wouldn't say they're top tier. Just your average CS.

The only time you might be calling CS is when your line gets blocked or internet is down due to outage, which for the latter usually results in slow response.

Was playing game when all of a sudden i got the red blinking LOS on my huawei modem. Golden triangle penang. Anyone staying here kena the same issue?

this is so true for me, I used to have 5tb of hdd space just for my anime stuffs but now I don't even need 1tb anymore because i can just dl anytime. no throttling and pings in games have always been good for me (~15ms connecting to SG servers, ~100ms to Aussie servers)

I've been using Time for over a year now, and I think I have had 3 down times in total, all were due to damaged cables, the longest one being the most recent cable damage which took over 12 hours to fix. I'd say my internet uptime is about 99.7% per year.

Speed wise, there's no denying this one's the fastest in terms of download/upload speed AND latency at the moment.

but if you share with family and all are actively streaming movies etc eventually you will get capped so it really depends on the purpose
