Are you referring to the comment left by the user named klseklse? If so, I suggest you re-read it carefully. That user is essentially saying that other sellers' lg hg2 were fakes, and was not referring to alexng.



FWIW, the 6pcs HG2's I got from alexng are still working as well as the 4pcs I got from vape empire and a friend's vape shop.

I'm gonna go ahead and buy from him then. But his promo code FREESHIPPING doesn't work anymore..oh well..

I actually was surfing over alexng's customers' review of their HG2s... and I couldn't find anything that even sounds close so was wondering about this myself.

Anyway, which VE did you get your HGs from boss? Most of the ones I go to only have the 25S5s in stock.

Bought 2 pcs HG2 from VE SS15 (near that Pelita restaurant)..but that was in july or aug last year. Can't remember the exact month...but I do remember the choking grey haze...was the first time I seen such haze in west malaysia. Give them a call to see if they still have stock.

IMO there's no diff in performance between the VE batts and alexng's....but there is a great diff in price. You can also try our own Sonnycool in garage sales. He has been very forthright about the batteries he sells.

finally got my hands on the Nugget + cado 22mm. yay!

so I immediately went for SS clapton coil 5 wraps with setup at 0.5ohms and immediately started vaping. 1st impression/taste is like cotton all over. even though I let the cotton to wick itself until all is fully saturated

eventually the taste began to normalize and better. so is it really cotton issue or should I recoil or rewick back?

edit : using SS clapton and muji organic cotton btw. and haven't rinse the tank yet.lol

same old good muji organic cotton.

What ID coils are you using? I'm running 3mm coils with loose fitting cotton wicks. But yeah, initially the cotton taste does take a whole lot longer to "go away" on the 'Cado... probably because the 'Cado transmits flavour so well it does so with even the cotton "flavour".

And this is with Kendo cotton mind you.

You do need to keep the cotton not so tight and loosely packed in the coils though. I find that tight, packed wicks just makes the cotton taste even stronger.

will try that, tonight might recoil with smaller diameter, just so I can reduce the cotton as well. I sked if too loose, later wicking not nice

on other note, my nugget seems to revert back to power mode even though I alr set to temperature mode with SS option. any nugget users share the same experience?

Err... ID is inner diameter. Optimal for the 'Cado is 3mm anyway as the wick holes are 3mm.

As for the kicking out of TC mode thing, I only got that running my twisted SS contact coils (with really low ohmage, circa 0.12) on the 'Cado + Pico. With my spaced, decent ohm coils (0.30-ish) I've had no issues so far.

Also, check if the top screw (the screw on the deck) is secure. If it's loose it will give you all manner of problems anyway. Also the 510 screw.

im still have problem with my rootbeer,but i found out winter green had most of the taste i want,so i cut down raw FW rootbeer to 2%,winter green 10%. half way the flavor i want,but feel missing something,add 0.5% of sasafras but it ruined the whole mix,taste like herb,haha...any idea sifu?
