You should have no problems moving the remaining 3 bags. It still is a better performer than Muji, IMO.

Thanks for the offer. It's a cute mod with innovative design but I think the fire button placement may be a little awkward for my sausage fingers and thumb.

A forumer once said that muji is fit for wiping LCD screens, and many times I've been inclined to agree with him.

I still have to agree with his assessment of LCD wiping. I've wiped bathroom mirrors and vehicle rear view mirrors with muji too, SERIOUSLY. Still got about half a bag left to use up...and it's better than just tossing it. Can't even give it away cos no one in my local vape group uses muji anymore.

While the old days of boiling pharmacy cotton are far behind me, there's no way I'll go back to using muji while there's better alternatives around. Waste not. Wipe on!

If u could only smell my bag of muji, I think you'd not hesitate to wipe things with it too. The top 1/3rd of the bag was tolerable to use, but the taste (and musty smell) grew worse and worse the further down the bag I went. Either the cotton went bad or my tastebuds became hyper as I weaned myself off nicotine, or both. It's always been sealed properly except when I needed to get a few more pieces to put in a smaller zip lock bag, and I see no fungus or anything growing there. Maybe one day if we can smell thru the internet and I have a nosecrophone I could show u what it's like (assuming I haven't used it all in wiping yet).

Actually unless Team Vape Lab (TVL) has improved their product, I'd still prefer Kendo. There was a point in time when TVL and Kendo were going for about the same price. If u r so inclined, get both brands and u can judge for yourself. I believe Kendo ECO is a smaller packet of cotton good for a trial.

I bought it online, after having been to the muji shop 3X...was always out of stock then. Consider yourself fortunate...for all I know someone farted into the bag and resealed it before poslaju-ing.

Ah u mean Sanek CelluCotton. Dunno any vape shops carrying that, but I can suggest visiting a few high-end beauty salons/spas...some may be using it on their clients (for non-vaping purposes).

I once saw a documentary (recalling from memory, so I may not be accurate) that said India's cotton is about 5% of total agriculture there, but used over 50% of pesticides and herbicides in the country. The Japanese started growing organic cotton there, so for all we know, the Japanese cotton we're using may well be of Indian origin. Hindustan zindabad!

While cotton is indeed organic matter, there's organic cotton (no man-made materials in it) and organically-grown organic cotton. Both varieties come in unbleached and untreated versions.

Koh Gen Do defines organically-grown cotton as having been grown in a field where no pesticides and herbicides have been applied for 3 years. Read that in an ad some time back. I believe they don't use chemical fertilizers too.

KGD does have a scent (at least mine does), but it is very mild and not unpleasant at all. Dunno how to describe the scent though. I opened up my pack just now (purchased earlier than u) to take out a few more pieces, and the mild scent is still the same.

I have been giving my Muji's unpleasant smell some thought, and maybe I can postulate a hypothesis by drawing a parallel with a certain meat I buy. I will not name the meat in deference to those who are observing their religious duties this month.

That meat from the ordinary wet market is oily and has a heavy smell, which before cooking can be a bit strong. About 3 months back I discovered a shop selling the same kind of meat, but it came from an organic free-range farm, and I was assured it was less oily and smelled/tasted way better than the wet market variety. I bought some to try. The seller was telling the truth, and I've been his customer ever since.

What can I extrapolate from that with regard to Muji? Cotton not grown organically is fed with chemical fertilizers. It boosts growth rates far better than organic fertilizers (which are lower in nutrients by weight) and could have resulted in a higher level of oils in the boll/seed. As the Muji cotton I have is untreated and unbleached, perhaps what I had smelled/tasted in it was cotton oils going rancid.

On a related tangent, my problem with tasting iron in normal kanthal coils has gradually grown. I now get a very heavy taste of iron from kanthal claptons/normal stainless steel coils. I'm now forced to use only nichrome. Not much hardship cos I can wind my own simple claptons using nichrome 26g core and 36g wrap. Googling around, I found that there are others (not many though) who have the same iron-taste problem. Spoke about it to a doctor friend and he said that it's probably just my body adapting to new conditions (no nicotine) gradually. Hopefully given time, my sense of taste and smell will stop being so hyper and settle down. This hypersensitivity may also account for why I can't take Muji cotton anymore. I'm also adjusting my DIY juice recipes to have max 4-6% total flavorings.

I'm tempted to go find a bag of KOGA right now! Your tastebuds can be trusted. However I'm restraining myself till I go lower into my bag of KGD. Usually we have a vapemeet every week or so and the cotton level drops very fast, but there's none for this month. I'll prolly get some KOGA to try in late July

I wanted a permanent change in my behavior...so I chose a very slow and gradual route when heading to zero nic. My route to quit vaping entirely will also be very slow. As you may know, part of the smoking habit is having something in one's hand to put to one's mouth. Right now just vaping zero nic juices is sufficient to keep the odd craving for a real cig at bay. Not gonna lie...those cravings DO come now and then, but my vape gear helps me overcome them.

FYI SS316 and 316l also contain nickel.

As for headaches, it can be triggered in some ppl by strong scents (from nickel's better flavor experience? the sense of taste and smell are very closely linked) or other causes. I'm not saying that nickel is not the cause of your malady; you may or may not have an actual sensitivity to that metal much in the way I can't stand the taste of iron in kanthal and SS now.

Is Ni200 really dangerous? In my book, no. Same goes for nichrome. You aren't worried about the aluminium in kanthal too are you? Vaping is harm reduction, not harm-free. I'm not really into TC these days, so nichrome does the job for me, tho I have very fond memories of great nickel builds in a goblin mini...freaking smooth rich flavor.

I know exactly what u mean bro. Doesn't matter if it's 7 months or a few years off cigarettes....ex-smokers do miss tobacco once in a while. We have to be determined to stick to our goal. If the craving gets too bad, I suggest you have a strong tobacco flavored juice with BIG throat-hit nearby. That "jamban juice" recipe I posted some time ago will hit like mike tyson; you'll feel the familiar harshness of smokey tobacco in yr mouth and throat. Some who tasted it have gone like "OMFG WHATTHE*coughcough*HELLISTHAT??" It's not 100% like a ciggy, but it's the closest I've been able to formulate so far.
