yeah sadly its a 128bit 128mb GDDR3 oc-ed version.no cash to get the 256bit 256mb 6800XT lah.

hmm..tried AA/HDR and AF in CSS and it was alright..gettin around 30-40fps average.

and tried AF in Starwars Battlefront II and no lag also.

If managed to get 40 FSP average should be good enough already. I hope i will have one.

Oh irangan actually i got a 17" inches LCD for myself.Quite satisfy with it.Since hardware price is going to drop,i think got some of the S478 owner will go to the drakside.

i think you can still change ur casing now and when you upgrade to C2D just move the parts into the new casing that's what i plan to do.haha.


damnit guyz im stuck at 2.52Ghz.cant go higher already.tried 2.61Ghz and came out BSOD after awhile in desktop. its either my bios settings or my 6800GS sucking up too much power

Last night just put on xp120 on my prescott. now idle 36C load prime 47C. 5-8C drop from stock. Will try to push higher tonight.

Yes S478 is quite old already.But for the moment now i will stick with it first cos i also don't have budget for C2D.Too poor man. Regarding Vista,i think for the moment i still will not swtich into it as my system just having 1GB RAM only.

I am also using this PSU,it will fluctuate from time to time one.But for me is still ok cos i am not going into super hardcore man.The max i can o/c on my spec is 3.71GHz with 1:1 divider with benchmark passed. My RAM is limitting me,so sad.

1gb of ram is not enough juice for running vista smooth. 2gb will be better. I think xp running on 478 still can last for few years.

I think shouldn't be a problem for that since we still have choice to run our system on Win XP. But if i got 2GB RAM i might shift it to Vista environment,between the Vista also need a better display card to perform if want to enjoy it's 3D effects.
