Seems tighten the timing do increase the PI score but also make my system become unstable.   Tonight will try will CL3 and see hows the result. Now at work place cannot try.

Yea.. Tried with CL2 on my system and end up with system cannot boot up. I guess my ram was one of problem beside my cap palang UPS. Guess is time to change ram! Hehe.. Do HyperX does good job?

erm..but also depends on the stepping he got. shawty must be very lucky able to have good stepping proc. anyway, wanna ask silly Q here. as all already know, i use intel board, so no ocing here.. my ram timings is 2.5-4-4-8. will it brings any diff if i change my rams to better one, let say the one with CL 2-2-2-5 maybe???

LOL! Yup.. Im glad if my rigs can hit 3.6Ghz. I will stop at that speed. And get myself a better GC for gaming. Still far away from my get pay day! Im planning for 79GS atm. Then can play some games. if i were u,i'll go for higher Vcore like 1.6V.monitor temp while using orthos.if temp <60C,den OC higher.P4 throttles down at around 80C.if u use Hynix chip,alwiz aim for higher bandwidth.no point aim for good timing.i've lousy timing, but i can go high frequency.no need use those super expensive HyperX RAM.and one more thing,i noticed tht when ur RAMs get too hot, ur pc will hang,so i suggest stick to 2.8V as Vdimm.try get those RAM heatspreader and install urself.i bought 6.50bucks each only from ALL IT.i think raymond also using.got abit of difference:-D

yeap what kabukiawie says is true and raymond,i dont think its a good idea to remove the heatspreader as it will rip off the labels on your ram thus voiding ur warranty  best thing is to buy a ram cooler from AllnGap or smth

  i875p intel chipset with sata raid + AGP port)
2.Intel Pentium4 2.8E Prescott processor (plain chip)
  this 2.8E can reach 3.5Ghz very easy with the IC7 setup.
3.Patriot PDP PC4200(DDR1) 512X2 DDR533

now i have 4 p4 chip, 1.5willy, 2.0 northwood, 2.8 northwood and 2.4 prescott.

1.5 and 2.0 is salvage from friends. haha......no other parts to fire them up.

Owh? For that, i not sure. I get this card just for display (well.. p4p800 dont have onboard vga) and some light gaming like maple. : For normal use i think should be no problem la.

Haha! I only get around 3.8k for 3dmark03 with default setting. OC it will get more higher lo. 5900XT and 9800XT which one better?
Hm.. Try look around for atleast 2.4Ghz S478 procs. Is a good choice to get one with HT.
