nope. done that, error in orthos 90 minutes. so now use default 3-4-4-8 for 220. wanna orthos again 2nite. i suspect either oc is poor due to four slots occupied or apacer ram just sucks in oc..hehe

regarding that bro, all chip written apacer, i have not checked the fine imprinted numbers.

Owh well, i came to this thread because i miss my old socket 478 PC.
It's the easiest to overclock. Seriously.

You don't have to play with NB voltages, can oc kaw kaw with just the stock NB heatsink.
And best of all, i can oc my 3.0E kaw kaw with just using a crappy Kingston Valueram that uses crappy chipset, not even TCCD.

If i have a lot of money that time, i wouldn't want to sell my 3.0E, P4C800-E-Deluxe & the Kingston Valueram, i love em.
But then, that time i don't have good source of income, so i had to sell it to upgrade my system to LGA775 & PCI-e

That time i have P4C800-E-Deluxe & P4C800 Deluxe.

Both boards are able to let me OC my 3.0E to 4GHz with just using valueram and chapalang Icute PSU.
No need to seek high performance ram and don't spend a lot of money to get good PSU.

I miss my socket 478 hardwares.

sometime its weird. didnt touch anything it also shock my singers when touch the casing. Believe or not. got 1 time i test on a pc that shock fingers, the testpen light is on!!! omg!

oo......haha.. i google for it 1st. coz i thought is my sata hold me back as well. But yours is ic7, your p4p800x how?? ever oc with your other proc??

dunno what happen. i guess something wrong with the AGP slot. the screen goes flickering, especially when running games. sometimes happen at windows also. well, previously my 9800pro got damaged. got artifacts all over the place. i guess the GC gone coz i tried it on other pc, same thing happen. bought new GC, X850XT, installed and the it flickering once in a while. tested the new GC on my brother mobo... nothing happened... runs perfectly... i guess its the mobo fault.... haihh... its really ruin my day...

asus p4p800e-deluxe. yeah i do plug in the extra cable on the gc molex. if no power connected to 9800 it wont boot.

yours better la, at least can run at 250, mine not even reach 245 le...... but with sata la.
maybe try swap other molex and try, maybe the molex loose or what. Dont give up on this good mobo. Or you try get a low profile card and try it out, like g4mx etc that not require any extra power.
