I think should be "Up to 16 textures per rendering pass " according to Nvidia's website.

lol, my sig very misleading ya?its not me anyway.

How do i check whether its prescott or northwood?
mobo model i dono already, but i think quite some time ago le.
ram i can give details.
can i check with cpuz?

whats the difference between northwood and prescott?
stock cooling enough for overclocking anot?

Added,Intel Celeron 346 3.06ghz, Prescott.
90nanometres.
mobo= dell punya mobo, shudn have problem OC-ing rite?
if got problem later go home use my mobo.
4x256mb, DDR2 pc4300(266mhz)
*
Oh,Dell's mobo can't make o/c on it.You got no choice but stay at the stock speed.Between your mobo is using PC4300? Is it an DDR 2?

Hmm,dell kenot oc ka. i tot its a myth only. some webbie say u can but very troublesome.dl the bios and crack and mod.then can oc. but very unreliable.

yeah, its pc4300 ddr.thats wat that is written in CPUz. but i have another pc at home that i have not tried yet.

anyway,i came across an old pc that has a 128mb gfx card. no details, decals whatsoever on the card. how can i find whats the driver for the card?
*
Oh,modded bios for Dell PC? brows.gif Interesting, but don't know risky or not. sweat.gif

2.8C proc is my 2nd rig. Using 78GS on my 3.0E got 7522 score.
*
Your main rig is clocking above > 4GHz ?Nice score on your 7800GS...

Can help me find solution to keep my 3.0Ghz P4 COOL and SILENT?I need a really silent system, the current is too loud!
*
Easy, totally silent you can go for Watercooling, else you can look for other heatsink cooling from Thermatake or Nautica.

This time can be achieved by a CoreDuo 1.66Ghz tongue.gif It seems CPU technology really improved a lot since the Prescott.  smile.gif
*
Oh,i think this is nothing special.I expect faster result on Super PI 1M on Core Duo as the Centrino 1.6GHz is able to acheive about 40s on Super PI 1M.

RM100 properly you can get the New I-Cute PSU only. sweat.gif But i think that the PSU is able to provide enough power for your 6800XT on stock.

.....like what raymond said, icute is the only psu that you can get with that budget.

remember, with ICute psu, highly adviced that you run all in stock, nono to oc. if want oc, get a better branded psu, budget maybe RM180++. Recomended get true power 1. smile.gif

i dont think Silverstone Strider is at RM100 level. a 600w, this psu will cost 150USD already. sweat.gif  sweat.gif Prepare at maybe least rm300 for that 560W.
*
I-cute can make o/c but not the current high end one.Last time i use to o/c my GF2 MX400 for daily use with the 300w one. biggrin.gif I think 150usd will be almost RM500+ like that. sweat.gif If RM180 can recommend to get the Cooler Master Extreme series.

its a very solid build psu, very very nice. i borrow from edministrator last time for testing my rig. smile.gif price i not sure, RM300++ at least la.
*
Cool, both of you know each other one. biggrin.gif I'm sure this PSU is greater than my Acbel 450w.

dis afternoon i went LYP.seems tht silverstone has 400Watt+ PSU.not very expensive.130 at most.but u can bargain for a better price.u just using a 6800xt.which is not a powerful card.6800gt and 6800ultra's smaller brother :-D
try enlight brand.they're also true power series.quite reliable since those p3 days.

last time i log in here was kabukiawie just fixed his 7300GT.i just bought a 7600GS.i dunno y.performance was pityful compare to his 7300GT since he also can score 9k wif 3dmark03.Mine only 9700+ mark(sound test not including since i using creative vibra).
tht I-GREEN PSU has 85% efficiency.acbel has 80% efficiency.but i feel tht I-GREEN is way too expensive compare to acbel and silverstone.
*
Mine Acbel I-Power is just 75% efficiency from its' website. But no worry cuse i'm just using 9550 only. The other unit of Acbel is using with 5900. biggrin.gif Silverstone so cheap?Only RM130?I think that's not really a true power PSU.

yea...hehe...real old buddies. smile.gif
i think the 400w silverstone that cost rm130 is just normal psu. true power psu mostly will cost more than rm200 for 400w, not to say 500w++.

your result is almost the same as mine at stock. mine 500/1400 7300GT. your 7600GS having ddr2 bottleneck. In ddr3 your card will shine.
for normal use i dont think it will cause any problem la.....

==========================
hehe.......just install this 2.8C into my rig. here is the screeny.  brows.gif

[attachmentid=253068]
i tried to get the highest speed last night, just a simple test. highest i can go is till 240fsb 5:4. 14*240=3360MHz. tongue.gif

will try to get higher tonight. may i know what is the highest safe vcore for northwood?
*
Cool got the 2.8C,safe vcore should be below 1.6v.3360MHz shall gives you a big boost compare to your previous CPU.

you know la....using p4p800x the vcore reading gila gila 1. mine at auto reads at 1.6v+ like what you see in the screenshot. sad.gif

i try set to 1.55v and try oc see how it perform. what i impress on this northwood is that the temp. This morning i switch on and the idle temp is 26C at stock!! even last night i try at 3.36GHz the temp is not over than 42C after looping 3dmark. Nor i worry more on my northbridge oz the temp is something like 40C+- tongue.gif
*
Wao cool, idle at 26 degree celcius.1.6V is a bit high for idle.by right the normal one should be 1.5-1.575V for Northwood if i am not mistaken. When loading, the voltage drops or not?

last time my prescott having the same issue, suppose it is 1.3v but it read almost 1.4v sweat.gif but when load it drop to normal vcore i set. i try prime and check it tonight.

it cool down using my xp120. brows.gif at stock the temp never over than 40C. very very nice. smile.gif not much different even with only half L2 compare to prescott and window loading is faster than before. biggrin.gif
*
Oh ya forget you are using XP120 heatsink. brows.gif Very nice temperature man. Last itme your prescott also can o/ced to 3360MHz ?

QUOTE(edministrator @ Jun 26 2007, 12:34 PM)
susah mao dapat northwood nowadays....hehe...lucky to have a 3GHz Northwood in my lappie...

Your lappie running on 3GHz northwood, got HT also?If not mistaken the FSB isn't 800MHz right on lappie?

This Inspiron 9100 is a heavy beast and serves me well all these years, when i run 3d app, i can even oc the mobility radeon 9700 from 445/263 to 560/300.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Review on Dell Inspiron 9100

To clarify your doubts on the CPU, here's the screenie, it runs 800FSB with HT:
*
Oh,then i have been mistaken already.I thought that those lappies cannot run the Northwood at 800FSB. rclxub.gif Nice labtop you have, during applications your labtop hot or not?

QUOTE(BurgerRI @ Jun 26 2007, 05:07 PM)
seems this thread so much more happening after I sold off my P4 2.8Ghz...lol

But I'm back in the fray...have just bagged a P4 2.8E so the FSB is 200Mhz...lets see how much headroom there is to OC this time around.
*

I thought you have been selling of you mobo already? Now getting the 2.8E ? hmm.gif Headroom is at least 3.4GHz for minimum i guess.
