Hmm,dell kenot oc ka. i tot its a myth only. some webbie say u can but very troublesome.dl the bios and crack and mod.then can oc. but very unreliable.

This time can be achieved by a CoreDuo 1.66Ghz It seems CPU technology really improved a lot since the Prescott.

remember, with ICute psu, highly adviced that you run all in stock, nono to oc. if want oc, get a better branded psu, budget maybe RM180++. Recomended get true power 1.

i dont think Silverstone Strider is at RM100 level. a 600w, this psu will cost 150USD already.   Prepare at maybe least rm300 for that 560W.

dis afternoon i went LYP.seems tht silverstone has 400Watt+ PSU.not very expensive.130 at most.but u can bargain for a better price.u just using a 6800xt.which is not a powerful card.6800gt and 6800ultra's smaller brother :-D
try enlight brand.they're also true power series.quite reliable since those p3 days.

last time i log in here was kabukiawie just fixed his 7300GT.i just bought a 7600GS.i dunno y.performance was pityful compare to his 7300GT since he also can score 9k wif 3dmark03.Mine only 9700+ mark(sound test not including since i using creative vibra).
tht I-GREEN PSU has 85% efficiency.acbel has 80% efficiency.but i feel tht I-GREEN is way too expensive compare to acbel and silverstone.

i think the 400w silverstone that cost rm130 is just normal psu. true power psu mostly will cost more than rm200 for 400w, not to say 500w++. 

your result is almost the same as mine at stock. mine 500/1400 7300GT. your 7600GS having ddr2 bottleneck. In ddr3 your card will shine.
for normal use i dont think it will cause any problem la.....

i tried to get the highest speed last night, just a simple test. highest i can go is till 240fsb 5:4. 14*240=3360MHz.

will try to get higher tonight. may i know what is the highest safe vcore for northwood?

you know la....using p4p800x the vcore reading gila gila 1. mine at auto reads at 1.6v+ like what you see in the screenshot.

i try set to 1.55v and try oc see how it perform. what i impress on this northwood is that the temp. This morning i switch on and the idle temp is 26C at stock!! even last night i try at 3.36GHz the temp is not over than 42C after looping 3dmark. Nor i worry more on my northbridge oz the temp is something like 40C+-

last time my prescott having the same issue, suppose it is 1.3v but it read almost 1.4v but when load it drop to normal vcore i set. i try prime and check it tonight.

it cool down using my xp120. at stock the temp never over than 40C. very very nice. not much different even with only half L2 compare to prescott and window loading is faster than before.

susah mao dapat northwood nowadays....hehe...lucky to have a 3GHz Northwood in my lappie...

This Inspiron 9100 is a heavy beast and serves me well all these years, when i run 3d app, i can even oc the mobility radeon 9700 from 445/263 to 560/300.

But I'm back in the fray...have just bagged a P4 2.8E so the FSB is 200Mhz...lets see how much headroom there is to OC this time around.

I thought you have been selling of you mobo already?Now getting the 2.8E ? Headroom is at least 3.4GHz for minimum i guess.
