If you said like that, the decoding work need a lot of processing power.Any idea where can get the decode 1080p H264 Blue Ray rips software ?We might have a try on that.Another suggestion is,do you guys play with CineBench before?

Corsair RAM so overclockable ?You are using 1:1 or 5:4 divider in bios?If 1:1 then your RAM is running on 270MHz+ .

I think 7300GT with 2.0GHz proc might be a little bottleneck as the proc's FSB only 400MHz. If playing with medium resolution still be ok i guess.

I think 2.4GHz proc and above is better for 7300GT as it has various of FSB available. The best one is still to get the 800MHz FSB proc.

Easy, just downclock the settings on the card.No problem if you are running at lower clock.

If got 8800GTX sure all of us will be delighted. But now the problem is we don't have.Maybe later nVidia will launch some 8xxx series on AGP.

Single core for gaming nowadays is still enough for it.Most of the games are ustilized with single core processing. But in future sure they will utilize dual core processing as now is begun to popular. The most high end list, you can refer to page 1 of this thread but there is long time no updated as nelza has been not very active in here.

6800 series is pretty good for P4 systems.I think that it's still strong in handling a lot of games. BurgerRI,your card is not yet sold ?

QUOTE(shinjite @ Jun 15 2007, 04:18 PM) raymod, wondering what is the highest OC you can achieve with ur Leadtek 5900? Mine one,can run at 450/850 speed but since my cooler is original one i 'm not running at this speed always as too hot. What's your highest speed on your 5900 ? QUOTE(BurgerRI @ Jun 15 2007, 04:52 PM) Bro, how high can u OC ur 2.8 northwood? I have a 2.8 prescott and its a pretty decent overclocker. I think this proc at least can reach 3.3GHz easily. If have better RAM sure can go 3.4GHz like that.

I think your mobo can o/c slightly.Did you check your bios there,is there any options to change the CPU frequency ?

QUOTE(shinjite @ Jun 16 2007, 02:53 PM) Yup also using stock cooler thats why only overclock when benchmarking 3dmark. 2.8ns you can get 870Mhz memory overclock? Are you sure? Normally with 2.5ns also very very hard to achieve that clock speeds for memory. Yours must be 2.2ns also..... If your mobo disallows you to OC, your only option would be Windows OC but of course your PCI/AGP will give you problems later due to too high the frequency. Er..not very sure though. But i got once clocked to such speed to run 3D mark,so not very sure about that. Now the card is at my hometown, not able to check on it. Yours highest only goes until 450/850 ?
