Don't have glass for the edge ler.

The wrap they do is more of a temporary solution. I get scratches on mine in less than half a day.

it is okay. the screen is not as smooth . but to prevent scratches, not much choices. now with X-One SP and Ringke Fusion combination

I think Huawei P9 or P9 Plus (RM 3309) high possiblity beat the S7 Edge camera. Leica! wow!

HW phones these days are no longer that cheap
Look at Mate S at rm2.7k. Was surprised the better specs Mate8 was only rm2.1 n rm2.4k and these price range attracted many buyers especially those looking for a decent 6 incher
Overall HW make very good quality phones based on my experience having used Mate 6.1, X1, Mate 7 and current P8max ( used as mini tablet) n Mate8
However sadly its branding n market perception is much poorer vs Samsung. They are now world third largest manufacturer after Apple n Samsung

-I am not sure the curve screen suit me, if I try at showroom it is OK but don't know when fully use it.
-Is this phone having problem with suitable SP or case? the past 50 pages of this thread mostly to discuss about this. although it is a bit boring for non owners to read, I am afraid it might be an issue. Official case from Samsumg is ok or not?
-Although Antutu benchmark for this phone is more than 100k i am afraid that when it comes to real usage it does not differ with 90k score of huawei mate8
- being water and dust resistant is very bonus although i dont swim or shower with my phone

- i am using 5.5 inch phone right now, i dont have problem with 6 inch, but somehow i am not sure if i can use car holder when using waze or google maps etc
- how about SP and cases for this phone? is it a lot of choice?
- is camera on this phone is average? although s7edge camera is superior does it different with photo with good lighting?

If you study their reports, Huawei jumped to 3rd place mainly due to their own China local market. In the West or the States, people are still not well receptive on Chinese brands. Even in Malaysia, I hardly see anyone using Huawei phones around.

To them, the big 4 brands in android are still Samsung, LG, HTC and Sony.

Actually western market has high anticipation for Huawei especially the Mate and P series, but the phones doesn't reach their market officially. I think only they only have the Honor series if not mistaken.

In fact Huawei product built is considered high quality. The only part that they have to catch up is the camera and FW update in my opinion. I have no issue with them using FHD. People should really test their product to feel the quality.

Perhaps so in the enthusiast market but consumer market can be a different case.

Updating my battery runtime

Yup. Now I suddenly feel that my S7 edge camera isn't that special anymore. Those sample photos from the P9 Plus are truly amazing! What more the specs are great too. Kirin 950, AMOLED 5.5" and USB Type C.

Let's hope that Samsung releases a firmware update to further improve the S7 edge camera.

From the samples it looks like the images from the P9 is pre-applied with a kodakchrome-like filter.
