that's sad

is it worth to import it in?

Depend if you can accept AP warranty or not, which will take months for the repairing.
But AP warranty (Local Supplier Warranty) normally cover at least 2 years.
Local original warranty still the best, repairing within days, but only cover one year, but guarantee original part.

Worth or not worth, you may compare the price of the phone. Normally import set are cheaper.

PS : LG G4 actually has official sold in Malaysia, but very limited sales. Won't find it at any phone shop, unless buy at online store. Hope the LG G5 will launch in Malaysia.

Depend on you....
I think you no need sell your Oneplus X. But if you favor bigger screen, then you might interested to consider.

But there are differences among the phone you want to compare:

Honor 5x vs Redmi Note 3 (32GB), about the same price point. Which one better overall? Normal usage like photos, surfing, casual games, Waze, etc. Thanks smile.gif

Hi everyone! Please help me with this recommendation:

1. Brand: any brand
2. Budget: within 1K
3. Specs: 3GB ram, if possible 32GB storage, Screensize: above 5 inch, Snapdragon, Android 5.1–5.1.1 Lollipop
4. What you need in the phone: I am more concern on large storage capacity, Android version must be 5.1-5.1.1 lollipop or above it, Fingerprint/scan unlocking. Almost forgot to mention that a microSD card slot for storage expansion is a must.

Actually, I have just purchased the new Redmi Note 3 32GB Gold via Lazada and it's a verified Malaysia. But unfortunately the screen was faulty so I am now in the midst of trying to return it and get refund. That's why I was wondering if I should survey other options first before considering buying another unit of Redmi Note 3.

Thank you.

Redmi Note 3 is the cheapest phone that meets ur requirement dy. U can consider Lenovo K4 Note if u are ok with it's Mediatek processor.

U will need to top up for other options like Mi 4S, Vibe X3, Honor 7, Vibe P1 Turbo. These phones meet all ur requirements.

Guys need some advice.

1. Brand: samsung
2. Budget: rm1.5k
3. Specs: 2GB RAM, 32GB storage
4. What you need in the phone: will use mainly for work communication eg. whatsapp. then some light social media like FB, instagram, etc. & some casual phone photography.

So far, i believe Samsung A5 2016 fits the bill but some questions beg:

1) is this phone worth it for let say 3-4 years?
2) will this phone lag? will it become hot as hell once in a while?
3) so far all samsung phone except S7 have only 16GB of main storage, but got 200gb expandable. Is there a phone that have >16GB storage but budget wise below rm1.5k?

I'm new to android and i don't want the same mistake when i had my windows phone lumia 925; the system file size is growing day by day, and the phone itself is just 16GB and till today left with only 3 GB! doh.gif

if have the expandable storage, will this prevent the problem of having the phone will become slow due to ever growing system file size?

Thanks for input guys! thumbup.gif
