the lag occurs occasionally, and mostly is animation lag. animation lag is not a big thing to nitpick about as almost every phone will have animation lag.
*
For this I agree. Samsung phone always like that in new release. After 2 or 3 updates it will gone.

This also apply to Note5 where now no single animation lag but S7 Edge actually do have in certain area certain time on animation smoothness issue.

This is the part I not agree. Sony Xperia phone camera apps all lag to me expecially in low light condition. Samsung wise never lag in camera performance and in fact the best or second best, it is comparable performance as LG phone.

Lol, then i must think twice already. Tot Samseng had learnt their lesson and smoothen the phone... Rather go for Nexus or iPon then. thumbsup.gif

I don't know, the lag in S4 is slow launching speed of apps, call log, call pad, sms, gallery...whatever you launch it will blank for 2-3 seconds before give the outcome...is really angry when sometimes you just want to make a simple call will need to deal with lagness. FYI, that phone got 2GB RAM, fresh installation of 5.0.1 lollipop OS, free RAM never drop below 500MB, but it seems need to wait forever to launch an apps. I bought this new phone is becos even my wife newly bought Galaxy A5 is much faster than my S4...WTF. Will see how this S7 behave over time.

Never experience lag in all my android phones (even back in Note 3) just that I upgraded cause I want a better camera and the fingerprint scanner lol.

And waterproof is a nice feature.

Perhaps maybe cause I was a ROM flash holic last time (my note 3 cant survive on a single ROM for 1-2 months)

LOL.

does any one of you notice that Samsung phone tends to stuck in the lower speed network. My S4 last time like that, now S7 also same, means that area for sure have 3G (H+) or 4G network, but sometimes the phone will stuck in E no matter how many times I toggle it on/off, I have to go into option to force it to '3G only', but by doing this I will loss 4G if my phone is in coverage zone. The only available options are 'LTE/3G/2G (Automatic)', '3G/2G (Automatic)', '3G only', '2G only'. Please help.
*
I thought all Android phone tends to be like that if you set Automatic? As long as it's weaker than a certain signal strength threshold it will choose the lower speed network.

Quick question.

Would a non-samsung Quickcharge 2.0 adaptor charge an exynos powered S7E at quickcharge speeds?
*
Yes. I used Xiaomi Mi4c quickcharger 2.0 before using the Samsung charger. It charged at the same speed.

Don't have such issue, in fact the network signal is better and stronger compared to Note 3. During Note 3, after a call, it takes quite a long time to switch from G to 4G, now with this phone, i would said it's instantly and I constantly getting 4G+ around my working area.
I have install dozens of apps and my phone didn't lag nor random reboot or freeze until today since day 1. This is the first time I don't hv the urge of rooting my phone compared to the olden days.
*
Great to hear that. Rooting won't help much on lagness unless you change ROM. I rooted my S4 after a year usage, tried a lots of custom ROM, yes, a lot smoother and faster than stock ROM, however have to compromise some lost functionality or bug such as the no after market camera apps is better than stock camera apps. After that tired with the custom ROM and went back to the stock ROM, just have to deal with the lagness.

I using the same Samsung Pro 64GB SD card in S4 and S7, after snap shot click into gallery, S4 will need forever to load the picture, but S7 is show instantly. So really dun know what's wrong with my S4. Actually want to reset/reflash ROM rather than buy new phone, but think have to backup and reinstall everything might as well get a new phone, surprisingly the S7 can transfer old data from my S4, hassle free. Yes, now my S7 basically loaded with all SMS, call log, picture and apps transferred from S4 but still buttery smooth, so let see how it goes.

Ok hi again. Pro SP installers...preferably those who used Ultimate SP. I just realized today that there is a speck of my dandruff trapped inside. Apparently my Head & Shoulders shampoo wasn't working up to par last night. So I would like to know should i drown the phone in soap water tonight and peel of the SP and remove the speck and put it back on or that would be a big No No? How? Anybody with any experience doing similar to this? Thanks. Although im going to use a case, the thought of it there just bothers me. Been bothering me since i found it 2 hours ago.

Just remove and stick it again with the water method. You can wash the SP using soap as well. I redo my s6 egde plus more than 5 time and is still going strong .
