Battery status for today.

is this normal?? not really pleased with battery life. this is with power saving mode. off AOD

but it was with power saving mode  maybe i expecting too much.

is normal for android os to take up so much battery?

If they reassemble it the same way they took it apart, I'm sure the waterproofing would still be there right?

First full day using this phone, play with some games, surfing, FB, AOD....

It manage for 4+hrs SOT, great phone to use...

How come u guys are able to hit 6 hours SOT? Mine maximum is 5hrs only and that is with 95% wifi. No gaming, no FB app.. Most of the time i use it for browsing and streqming Youtube ...and with black UI theme

for me is good enough, by the way, my phone have exchange sync active every hrs for email, calendar & contact.

so background apps is keep running but it still can hit more than 4hrs SOT, I'm happy with it.

some more while playing games, it only feel slightly warm, way better than my old S3 phone which is hot.

Assuming everyone's battery is in good condition and not defective, different users will have different SOTs. SOT is not exactly a good comparison because surely, a person gaming on the phone from full charge to 0% will have a lower SOT than a person who only uses the phone for emails or Web browsing (Wifi) and screen brightness at minimum.

On iPhone as there is no microsd, if we lost our phone they can't access our data.

But on s7e, they just take out the microsd and can access our data, our photo and video save at microsd....

Have to encrypt the microsd? Just to be safe.

but i my room it should have that color 😓

My only concern is how they refine the software to maximise the sensor performance. For my understanding, the firmware is based on region not hardware they used. 

exactly what i think too (but kinda scared to mention later i got flame here)

no doubt the edge screen is merely a design choice, more on the aesthetic than being practical.. samsung can add that edge screen function on any phone by adding the edge panel on the software.. hence make me think that sammy should retain the usual price point on this (RM2.5k-ish) and feel this kinda overpriced as they used the edge screen as the selling point. well not sure if they have patented the edge screen? coz i hope some chinese manufacturer will follow this design, so we can  have such beauty at a cheaper price, and will keep pressure on these tech giant.. just like Apple starting to lose sale volume because there are many other premium designed phones out there nowadays.
