And sometimes don feel like bringing so much gear because I am a business owner, have my mac with me and stuff so usually after shooting for a charity then still need to go somewhere. Don't want to carry so much and always paranoid about leaving it in the car. I know I'm damn stupid. Hahaha Yeah man, he say one most crazy one was they use the camera for bridal house, so in house studio shoot they are not worried it will spoil halfway, and guess what? It went to close to 2m shutter wor. I was like what??? He say yeah, cool. Don't worry about the shutter. |

Hi guys, i have a question here. Regarding ND filters.
Have you heard about Big stoppers ND filter? Such as ND1000. It can be used to reduce the light going to sensor and increase exposure time My question is this. I'm looking for one big stopper ND. I would use it for landscape photography (sunrise, waterfalls, noon time). I notice there's also ND4000 and ND32000. Is ND1000 enough and practical already for those applications? Thanks in advance. |

The Big stopper (refer to Lee filter) is 10 stops which is pretty for hardcore landscaper. A 10 stops ND is better use for seascapes, vital for freeze water motion in noon (if you really into that) For waterfall, one can get away with 3-6 stops ND.
What hardcore landscape photographers normally pack in the bag is a 10 stops ND combine with Graduate ND filters for sunrise/set usage. The GND normally comes with 3/6 stops - hard edge or soft. Thus, a Graduate ND filter is better suite for that purposes where you have split scenes - darker and bright area (sun) which helps in balancing the exposure. Also, on a fast moving cloud day, the 10 stops can create a rather pleasing cloud motion scene to get with epic sunset/sunrise images. Now you know why 10 stops ND is the standard? You have not take GND into consideration. So, in a nutshell, ND filter alone may not be the ultimate solution for what you need, u also need GND in the mix. QUOTE(kasey1314 @ Mar 22 2017, 09:17 PM) canon 600D used with 2 lens Depends on the condition of the camera. If around 20k shutter count or lower together with those 2 lenses, it is a good deal.EF-M18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM @ RM 1500 , is good deal ? But as mentioned, ef m lens cannot be mounted on 600d and I think no adapter for it. I owe a 600d as well. You can only use the efs lens for the 600d. The camera and the efs lens for rm1.5k I think also a fair deal if the camera condition is good and got extra accessories such as bag or batteries. |

Hi all,
Wanna check with you all. For servicing, now you head to the HQ at Canon Tower, UOA Business Park or still go to Peremba Square? Which one is better? Thanks for your opinion. |

mirrorless like eos m3 have 49 AF points while dslr like 750d got only 19 AF points which are known all cross-type.
Does this mean m3 focusing is better in term of coverage? How about speed wise, I heard canon mirrorless one not good enough yet as their dslr counterparts. |
