Hi all, sorry to ask a few question relevant to me as I am new to Bandar Sg Long (Palm Walk residences), potentially buying a house there.

1. from Sg Long to Kajang, we have to pay only Rm1.80 toll right? same for Kajang to Sg Long?
2. from Sg Long to KL city, any tolls?
3. there are no government hospital/clinic in bandar sg long? which make me think that ppl in Sg Long are all rich and go to private only?

Thanks

1. Option 1 RM1.80 Silk Highway, Option 2 GS Highway toll free

2. Option 1 RM1.30 GS Highway, Option 2 toll free BMC-GS-KL or Sg Long-Batu 11-Cheras Perdana-GS-KL

3. Nearest government hospital is Kajang Hospital (11.6km away), nearest government clinic at Hulu Langat (8.4km  or 9.5km depend which routes)

When MRT is up next year, you can go to KL via Sg Sekamat, Bukit Dukung or Bandar Tun Hussein Onn MRT station.

By the way why Palm Walk?

Thank you! Why PalmWalk? Why not Palmwalk? Hehe. Do you have better choices in order to fullfill my criteria/requirements as below?

It is for my elderly parents to stay...

1。Nearby public amenities/facilities especially: hospital, market, convenience shop and police station
2。Safe and Secured
3。Minimal or No Maintenance Fee except Gated&Guarded
4。Budget around RM 600-800k, Freehold
5。Near to Public Transport: LRT,MRT,KTM
6。etc.

Gents, appreciate your advice to ease my dilemma.

Do you think Goodview Height (new project i spotted in Sg Long so far) a good potential to buy?

My concern is basically:
1) Need to pay RM1.80 toll to Bandar Sg Long if parents want to go to passer market/AEON
2) No gov. hospital/klinik kesihatan around which makes me worry if I put my parents there
(I am out station mostly and only my dad know how to drive, mom riding motor only)
3) The scale would be smaller than Bandar Sungai Long-UTAR

Open for all suggestions to buy in GVH or Palmwalk/Seri Sg Long subsales

I remember you have listed down the following criterias, GVH failed all except Item 4 why should you consider ?

1。Nearby public amenities/facilities especially: hospital, market, convenience shop and police station
2。Safe and Secured
3。Minimal or No Maintenance Fee except Gated&Guarded
4。Budget around RM 600-800k, Freehold
5。Near to Public Transport: LRT,MRT,KTM
6。etc.

Understand that Seri Sungai Long house price should be more than RM800K

You'd think many people can afford those kind of prices for semi-D, corner, bungalow?

I can see many are left vacant and slowly 'rotting' away...

So..property forever up and never go down? Time will tell but we all can already be a witness this is definitely not true  nod.gif

Rottting?

In your opinion, where would be the best place for terrace sub-sales in Bandar Sg Long? Will it be BSL / Palmwalk / SL4 / SL6,7 etc (from the point of view that the value of the house still have room for growth...most sought after icon_idea.gif )

I viewed a house at Bukit Sungai Long 1, the bathrooms need to use water pumps during shower (source from tank/tangki); kitchen pressure (source from direct pipe) are sufficient.

Is this common in BSL 1, BSL 2 and BSL 3 as well ?

Thanks!

yes best to get one or two pumps for the whole house. high ground houses usually have very poor pressure

If I change the tank to a bigger tank, will it help?

Thanks all bros.

I am venturing BMC houses now.
Which Section comes with gated and guarded? I am told Section 2, 3, 6, 7 right? Section 1, 8, 9 are half half?
Section 7 is mixture of 18x60 and 20x65 houses?
Section 5,6 are non-chinese areas?

Among section 1-9, which sections are newer and which one with tighter security?

Thanks a bunch!
