MACH Visa Signature 1 mile for RM3 spending

If you are talking about high amount of transaction I would say Kriflyer is still worth it. afterall adding a KL-SIN / SIN-KL flight will not affect the miles required to redeem. only that you need to transit but doesnt matter much if you are on business class.

consider japan airlines, 80k return on their 787-9 and relatively reasonable surcharge but problem is we cant book direct as M2Premier does not allow to transfer.

Have to rely on hopeless enrich

On Asia Miles it cost 80k miles + HKD816.

Back on topic, where have you guys managed to use your AMEX for large transactions locally?
*
is it JL?

But on JL Mileage Bank it's below 5000 Yen (RM200)

Was it with the 2C Premier? I have just signed up with Krisflyer Amex so I hope they will be just as quick. Any experience?
I still have some 750K TP which I plan to convert to KF at some stage.
*
Yes, this is Premier 2C thread no? tongue.gif

Krisflyer Amex? you may search back my experience with them in this thead. They hold up my miles for > 6 months and repeatedly admit they have problem with Krisflyer. Finally after not less than 5 calls it is finally settled and somehow they made a mistake and i was been awarded extra 6000 miles. Worth the extra effort i guess.

may i know how do i do it and who to go to? because all the credit card staff told me to just forget it and i will never have a chance lol
*
first write a letter to the credit card dept to inform them of your intention. you will soon receive a letter of offer.

Bring this letter to any maybank branch to deppsit your fd and wait for them to send you the credit card

m2premier is as good as you will get

some people reported ambank has very good foreign exchange rate. Plus for oversea the pts reward is close to M2Premier and the lounge access is brilliant, I dont mind to give them some business.

citibank PM you should really utilize for the free taxi only, reward pt is too little.

You get a free taxi home when you use your card for any amount, 3 times oversea (with the cc slip), only applicable at KLIA, and unlimited PPL access, but does not apply to PPL at KLIA2 which is a bit strange....

I find MACH Signature by Hong Leong is great to supplement M2P, as you still get miles for TNB / Insurance at RM3/mile, downside is they only credit Enrich miles
*
Agree.

If you dont mind Krisflyer then the SIA Krisflyer Gold Amex make sense too, RM2 = 1 mile.

downside, it is an amex and miles are automatically credited to your KF acc every month.

if you spend >60k per annum on it, it is literately RM 1 = 1 mile as there is a tier based bonus

Hello.

If I'm currently holding MBB VI (one card only)...and if I were to apply for the AMeX Reserve later, does that mean I will have MBB 2 Cards Premier?

Or do I haveto cancel this VI and reapply both cards together?

Noob here
*
Premier come in pair, no standalone Amex Reserve

So yes you will hold 2 VI but for annual fee waiver you need to meet 50k + 80k spending

Hey guys,

Looking at the Premier vs Visa Infinite

Can someone share what are the TP earning rate per RM?

Website states:
Premier Local RM1 up to 5TP
VI Local RM1 up to 2TP

Not sure how many TPs for normal retail transactions and the ones that give up to 5 TP?

Thanks
*
Premier come in pair

VI - Same as your normal VI earn rate
Amex Reserve - 5x TP for any transaction except those restricted (gov related, insurance, etc)
