QUOTE(garf @ Jun 24 2016, 04:43 PM) haha, i'm the opposite~~ many years back i applied CIMB and they rejected me, but then Maybank and HSBC approved my application. Sooo.... you'd rather simpan dendam than get the best rewards for your spending pattern?Since then, i never think about getting a CIMB credit card even they call me and offering me the card!! |

QUOTE(garf @ Jun 25 2016, 03:03 PM) CIMB CR for 5% cashback on online purchase. Only similar card is UOB VOX which has annual fee unless you remember to spend every month AND limited to purchases above RM50.Or Public Bank VS if your salary high enough. If you want to simpan dendam against some random company (that doesn't care and not harmed at all by your dendam) then so be it. Just as irrational as those who purposely pay more for a particular company's services because they want to be 'loyal'. Or boycott because owner is some race, or some crony, or some nonsense. More reasonable to just choose the one which gives you the most benefit based on spending pattern. |

I asked Maybank Customer Support whether Maybank will introduce contactless credit cards. Well, this is her answer, but we may take it with a pinch of salt, since it is unverified information.
She said that only Visa Credit Cards from Maybank will have Visa Paywave. So, MasterCard and American Express Credit Cards from Maybank will not have MasterCard Contactless, and ExpressPay respectively. That is too bad for any of us, who have MasterCard and American Express Credit Cards from Maybank. Does anyone here have verified information on contactless credit cards from Maybank? Thanks for the information. This post has been edited by kart: Jun 26 2016, 09:49 PM |

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ May 19 2016, 07:44 AM) its me I already contact the maybank but they said that the ikhwan wont get the wave function (since they said only visa supply the card that have wave at the moment) You might try ring the CS as during my call, the CS also dunno what is paypass function, only know paywave QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Jun 8 2016, 02:11 PM) Oh I remember during my conversation on pandan jaya branch. I wanted to change my debit to pin n pay features. After get my new pin n pay debit, I asked the officer in charge, she said, as for now the ikhwan card type only receive pin n pay features and not paypass/contactless. Also she said that contactless is focused on debit card instead of credit QUOTE(kart @ Jun 26 2016, 09:48 PM) I asked Maybank Customer Support whether Maybank will introduce contactless credit cards. Thanks, cybpsych. Anyway, I hope that there is no harm in sending a suggestion to Maybank Customer Support, hoping that they can implement MasterCard Contactless, and ExpressPay in MasterCard and American Express Credit Cards from Maybank respectively. ____ I am sure that most of you are familiar with 'HammerHead' contactless credit card readers, which are commonly found in Aeon and AeonBig outlets. ![]() Source: http://coherentplus.com/v2/?page_id=82 Oher than obviously Visa Paywave, do 'HammerHead' contactless credit card readers accept MasterCard Contactless? Has anyone tried tapping MasterCard Contactless credit / debit cards, on 'HammerHead' contactless credit card readers? This post has been edited by kart: Jun 27 2016, 10:57 PM |

My spending pattern mainly on retail/online transactions, petrol and utilities. With the revision to 1x TP for utilities and petrol, I expect to get lower TPs.
But comparing my calculations and TPs awarded in my statement, I'm getting more TPs than expected. This happened for 2 months already and I can't match my calculations. I'm more than happy to get the extra TPs but annoyed that I can't find the right formula. Is there is a difference of TPs between paying utilities manually than those under autopay? Or certain utilities still given 5x? Astro? Is different brand of petrol given different TPs? I tried my permutations based on the above questions but still can't get it right. |
