Ignore. Port out success means zero outstanding.
Maxshit targeting dumb customers.
Once u pay , takes 4ever to refund
*
i dont think so. port out sucess only consider previous bill is clear..
if you port out during middle of cycle you need to pay it once the next bill due..

really? I ask the cs why cannot do online...she said need to go and ask manually at the counter. gonna call 123 later. don't want to go to the center. taking to much time.
*
not sure if we are same case...
I convert my parent line VP to MOP98 and MOS48 all tru live chat.
the main line already show MOP98 but the MOS48 still not showing MOS48 package since I request it on yesterday 11am..
the CS Live Chat told me to wait for 24 hours and see if yet to change then get back to them.. smile.gif

same with u, convert ivalue to MOP and bring surfmore30 to MOs also thru live chat. the one I cant do is getting the 500mb free data from Maxis one club. they said I need to go to the counter and ask for the additional free one. but our friend just claim the data with just calling 123.
*
oh, I din hv this either..
the 500mb free from One Club is selected base on requirement.. is like an reward...
Certain time, you will receive an sms on reward or freebie from Maxis tru sms when they value you as long term customer..

29th March 2016: Applied to port over to Celcom's "First Gold".

30th March 2016: Maxis called to counter offer with their Maxis One Plan 188 + (a) RM100 rebate + (b) 1gb extra for 6 mths. Agreed & stayed on with Maxis.

22nd April 2016: Maxis downgraded my plan to Maxis One Plan 98 + 2gb for 24 mths.

My question...  Does Maxis have the legal right to change my existing subscribed plan without any form of notification nor my written or verbal consent? Anyone?
*
they do hv the right.. u can go tru their TnC in the web.
see what I highlight in red... if you don't agree, you hv 28 days to terminate it from changes of package, mean you accept it..
so go terminate now pls... laugh.gif

Maxis do it right this time..
Changing the special only affect few % but bring back a lot more new customer.
What I see is ppl acknowledge maxis has better offer/coverage/speed compare to other telco which they don't want to admit it
My advise just port out if you feel other is better 😉

What package you are having with maxis now and willing to reveal the special package and price?
*
Nop I don't hv any special package nor rebate from maxis even though I with maxis since they start business
I grateful to be offer rm99 data which that time is unlimited and now become 10gb and I own 2 and just move one to MOP98 yesterday ..
I being paying rm200 just for data not even phone call..
I wanted to be maxis cos I know they hv better coverage.. I use to travel from Penang down to Negeri Sembilan.. What telco can give you that kind of coverage where you hv 3G HSDPA+ beside maxis ...
Maxis never fail me when I at kampung or pekan area.
You try use umobile and digi at kampung and see...
The speed is terrible and sometime no data coverage at all..
I need data when I traveling as I need work remotely when I back my wife home town.. That why I choose maxis until today

I glad being choose as their elite and get few free phone from them

Maxis now got Maxis One Share 48
Gotta port in my 3 celcom numbers to Maxis
Now one number celcom first gold 80, 5GB+5GB
the weekend 5GB dam useless as I rarely use on weekend
It means I pay RM80 for 5GB, then RM38 for 3GB (no unlimited call)
I dunno port to maxis and only pay RM48

Celcom number is use by my staff
Goodbye celcom
*
agree with you...
the 5GB on weekend is sometime useless if you not going out right and it wont carry over to next weekend..
thus normally those weekend data or off peak data, i will not consider part of the package..

furthermore, with Maxis MOS Plan, is relatively cheaper if we hv more line share on it rclxms.gif

Maxis is really doing something that I too cant accept as a loyal cust for 17 years.

I have received a call from their so called "SAVE" department
And they gave a promo which is the maxis ONEplan 158 with RM80 Rebate.
So my bill will be RM78 every month with 5GB (at the time) with 2 years contract

I didnt mind as I was interested and agreed verbally on the phone they claimed which is recorded.

When I found out that they were giving much bigger data I was happy as I thought I will stick to RM78 and get 15GB of data.

I WAS WRONG

last week. I checked my data thru the MyMaxis app and found out my plan was DOWNGRADED to maxis ONEplan 98 instead without notifying me at all!!

I gave them a call and they said they did because of the plan changes and decided to  maintain my 5GB of data only but the good part is they removed my contract.

I dont mind the contract but I WANT THAT 15GB of DATA for RM78 because uMobile is already giving RM70 = 15GB .

What the hell maxis?! seriously!!!
*
Bro you still pay cheaper than other ..
If not happy port out
I don't like using umobile to compare with maxis as thier coverage is limited to city
When I travel to pekan or village , maxis and Celcom has better coverage

Just wonder why they can't just convert to mop?

Yes, I am aware.

What I am trying to say is their response, How many lines you have will probably determine if Maxis MaxiShit will give a further rebate for the monthly billing.

Just like what this thread is all about; quietly giving different rebates to others and none to those who do not know.

Typical double / triple standard  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  ranting.gif
*
bro,
your assumption is totally wrong...
if you hv 3 line, they will ask you go for MOP128 and not MOP98...
that is why they asked... i think you are the one who is not clear what offer by Maxis.... i can make assumption you don't know more on other telco as well as laugh.gif

QUOTE(362436 @ May 10 2016, 04:24 PM)
Some complain is good as it's help telco to improve and benefit consumer like us. But i started to get annoyed by the double standard complain.

Sadly, life is not fair and if you had involved in marketing/sales before, then you should know sometimes you will get better deal during selected promo period, or you will get some favor deal from some salesman but the same salesman not give the same offer to others, or vice-versa.

Yourself are responsible to find the best deal and you have to improve your negotiation skill to be a smart consumer. Don't blame others for not present the best deal to you like spoon feeding. This is not just for telco but for all aspect of your life.

well said bro... notworthy.gif

my advice. don't simply port out without checking Digi service quality / coverage / speed at your area.

Yeah ... Other cheaper but limited coverage and speed is also useless
That is why I stay with maxis when they are expensive..
Good thing now they are almost on par with other telco

I had a similar thought too. So I tried celcom prepaid for a month.

Decided to stick with Maxis/Hotlink. My experience showed that maxis gave better coverage and data speeds in Penang island. Especially noticed that celcom was slow to switch from 3g to 4g and vice versa.
*
QUOTE(albhong @ Oct 31 2016, 08:56 AM)
i'm not supporting Maxis neither Celcom, Digi or the rest. I have been using Maxis > 10 years, tried port out to Celcom and Digi, but port it back to maxis within 3 months. In terms of network coverage, voice call quality and data speed, it is still Maxis. I have no choice stay with Maxis even the plan is much expensive. But do hope Celcom/Digi can has their network upgraded, giving more competitive against Maxis.
*
Ya I hv that experience once with celcom last year and I end up cancel the plan and paid rm150 for penalty.
Just hope maxis increase their data size for all package sooner to compete.
