U're right, Maxis has been unfair to u. But u can always choose to port out again to umobile. It's your right to choose whatever u feel most beneficial to u. QUOTE(lowyard @ Apr 22 2016, 08:05 AM) Chill, no need to have so many ? and ! I apply to port out of maxis to jump to umobile before, then maxis called me to counter offer, give me 158 for just 68. So I agreed and stayed. Exactly a month later, after 1st bill came out ok, the app show me I'm on 98 for 68 now. I'm not happy for sure. So defensive eh? Blame maxis for my own choosing? Lel

Becoz u're going take 98 together with share 48, it is still reasonable becoz u get 98+48 = 146/2=rm73 perline which is comparable to celcom gold and digi though with a little bit lesser data. So I believe this is acceptable deal. QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Apr 22 2016, 08:09 AM) last week I'm still on ivalue1 with 7 month contract. i want to port out but my wife don't want me to waste 350 ringgit just for the penalty and she doesn't want to port out since maxis has the best coverage at her work place. .i convert to MOP98 and the contract still remain 7 month. if i stay on ivalue plan...i think we ivaluers is the most useless plan subscriber and ignore by maxis. paying 100 a month got only 2gb no unlimited call and sms.

We're going to know the answer after the official announcement. QUOTE(dragna @ Apr 22 2016, 08:40 AM) Hmm.. Looks like they rolled out before reaching new cycle.. Good question, since this data bump is so significant I'm not sure will we still be getting 15GB of free Spotify..

It seems that the new plans are no longer mop98 or mop158, u're now under mop5gb, not mop98. QUOTE(fbtan319 @ Apr 22 2016, 08:56 AM) We shouldn't let any company give an offer then change their offer after 1 to 2 months. This is illegal.... Yes, agree with u. This package may be able to retain the existing customers but not good enough to capture the market. It is still too expensive compared to others. But perhaps their intention is to maintain premium price and get better profit from lesser number of customers. QUOTE(wc_how @ Apr 22 2016, 11:27 AM) The principal plan is 20-30% expansive than the competitors, this is maxis style. The subline is much value and consider one of the best subline in the market now. Overall, the current maxis holder should be satisfy with this plan and this is what their get used to. They may even bring in subline to "balance" the price. This plan not attactive enough to gain back customers it lost. Unless they face network issue. Of course maxis never fight in price war. If they react this two months earlier, i believe they can retain at least 30% customers who wished to port out. They have no need to call one by one to offer those loyalty plan, and also this incident won't happen. If the ported out customers feel comfortable with the new telco, they will never come back. Maxis underestimated the current trend and still think they have the great advantage over the network.

Their business is always good, even before the introduction of this new package. That's why they dont care for just a few people porting out QUOTE(Megatron1234 @ Apr 22 2016, 11:57 AM) Yesterday Celcom CEO Shazalli said " We used to sell 45 post paid a day. Now we sell 3,000 postpaid plan a day". Em..... interesting. Market is already saturated. From where these 3,000 a day come from?

Actually maxis strategy is good, why care for petty money, 1 million paying trivial amount that u can hardly make much profit, Maxis would rather concentrate to those who are willing to pay more for better margin of profit. Brilliant!!! Everyone in business should know this strategy. QUOTE(lch78 @ Apr 22 2016, 12:00 PM) Just heard from BFM this morning that 1 million subscribers left MAXIS already. Good!!! QUOTE(xzilem @ Apr 22 2016, 12:16 PM) You're right. I'm happy with digi 80 (7gb + 3gb wkd + 2gb carry), RM80 for 12gb/mth. If i want more, RM10/week for 8gb, i can get RM40 for another 32gb/mth. It's only RM120 (80+40) for 44gb/mth. The best thing is, no network issue at all.

Out of sudden!!! QUOTE(omega10 @ Apr 22 2016, 01:53 PM) My East Malaysia Plan 158 has been changed to Plan 68 a few minutes ago. Just realised from maxis app. No sms or call to notify! Data Quota is as follow: 1. Unlimited off peak 1015.6 GB. 2. Special Free 2GB - 24 months. 3. Maxis One 5 GB. The 20GB allocated earlier is gone! I have unsubscribed Spority immediately. If not because of the unlimited off peak quota, I would MNP to Digi. Eventually all the special plans will be downgraded.

Seems like maxis system is very bad QUOTE(lim.yw0330 @ Apr 25 2016, 11:58 AM) I accepted the RM188 - RM100 counter offer when I requested to port out a month ago. Now they changed my plan to RM98 plan with an additional of 2GB for 24 months. The people that called me for the counter offer stated clearly that I won't be bound to any contracts but my bill this month stated that it is RM745. WTH?! Anyone facing the same problem?
